Anyone in the New York area looking for a cat? He's one and a half years old, will be up to date on shots, gets along with other cats, but doesn't mind being alone either, gets along with some dogs, if you're local (long islandish) he also comes with free vet checkups for a year at Baldwin Harbor animal hospital

The tattoo I got back in april, but never had a photo of until today. Nevermind that it's 90 degrees out at the barn and my back is sweaty;

I am very very very excited aha, my friend moved to California, and her family is paying for me to fly out and visit her for a week at the end of the summer AND I might be going to Paris for free as well. What what?
Why, you ask, do people love me so much to send me awesome places for free?

My last two weeks have been full of dismal sickness. The kind of sickness that makes you cough until your stomach hurt and won't let you get out of bed.
The first three days were mild discomfort - scratchy through, mild fever, runny nose. Nothing awful. It finally got really bad around the 12th. The 13th I went to the doctor. That conversation went a bit like this;
I explain everything that's been feeling wrong bad "And I think I caught whatever my horseback riding instructor had, she's been sick for weeks but then her husband got sick and he took antibiotics right away and got better much quicker so I think I'll be good if you just give me some antibiotics"
"No, whatever you have is viral, don't take antibiotics, just lots of advil until you're better"
Anyway, a week later and I'm still feeling like crap so I go to a different doctor who says
"And you're still sick? Take these antibiotics...Immediately"
Moral of the story: Second opinions?
As a treat for reading through my complaints: Drunk Ekka steals sailor's cap and random suit jacket

(Because that was what you wanted to see)

Why boredom is hazardous;
did part of it at school in photoshop, finished it at home with ms paint (that was a bit of a fail, obviously)
I went to a rugby game yesterday and fell in love with the sport. It's so so intense, you have to have such a connection to other players on your team, and just let go of inhibition and be fearless. And of course it made for great pictures.
I'm also going to a gymkhana horseshow today (pending weather) so hopefully I'll get some nice shots there too. I'm hoping for a telephoto lens for my birthday but I'm not sure how that's going to go because I have a limited price range within to request haha. I've been looking at this lens from Sigma - [link]
If anyone has any other suggestions on telephoto lens, it' wouldn't go unappreciated. I've got a Nikon D50, and do a lot of photography at horseshows(aaaaaaaand probably a lot more rugby games in the future) so preferably something not too slow, andddd costwise not more than $350...I know that limits it quite a bit

I figured I should update so here are some pictures from my horseshow this past weekend; my wild beast is turning into a real horse, he's wonderful

So I totally have a set in hopefuls, I'm gonna be an SG. Going pink ohhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh
I guess spring was just being a tease? more rain and cold - exactly what I wasn't looking forward to. I guess a watched pot doesn't boil, and a watched season won't come. Goddamn, where'd my sunshine go?
