Had a great holiday in the Peak District recently, caught up with some relatives that I hadn't seen for a while too. Has been a nice month so far.
It's Sunday morning... I have to leave for work soon. Boo!
Anyway.... I not to neglect my suicidegirls page, but facebook and emails always get in my way when I come online.

Went on a great mini-pub crawl last night. Started at Belgo Bierodrome on Kingsway, then moved on to The Lowlander on Drury Lane, then The Porterhouse in Covent Garden, then De Hems Dutch Bar in Chinatown, and finished off at The French House in Soho.
Great stuff! It was a great summer's evening.
I love these summer evenings where it doesn't start getting dark till after 9pm.

I'm on leave from work at the moment, it's great! Not back for another 2 weeks.
I went to see Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride and Anathema at the Kentish Town Forum on Friday. Each band played an awesome set, although it was a shame the venue has such shit accoustics. It was a real one-off gig, so I'm glad I went.
On Monday I went on a bit of a pub crawl around The City (London's financial district) - started at Liverpool Street Station, then went down to Leadenhall Market, and a few alleyways, got as far as The London Stone pub, then made our way back to the station. Took in 8 pubs all together.
i want to go to Greenwich today, but it looks quite miserable outside!

I'm off to Twickenham today too see Iron Maiden perform at the National Rugby Stadium. Looking forward to it!

I got back from the Netherlands last week.
Stayed with my mate in Den Haag, but also went to Gouda, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Antwerp (Belgium), Rotterdam and Delft.
Been back for just over a week now. Had a very drunken night on Monday.
Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of working at the Museum.
