Well, from your description of events it sounds as if our woodbe PUA needs to work on his game a bit more. To properly "dis" or "neg" a girl, the dis really should come wrapped in a compliment. For example...Wow, that's a nice bracelet..(now pause)...my Mom likes costume jewelry too, and say it with a smile so she thinks you're just picking, but she's not completely sure? The point is not to blatantly insult the girl, you just want to evoke a playful response from her while keeping her a bit off balance. Now, she might object and insist the bracelet is not costume jewelry, in which case, I'd take her by the hand while asking for a closer look. This is called "anchoring." Anchoring is nothing more than innocent touching, but you want to anchor the girl as much as possible without it becoming obvious, so she becomes comfortable with your touch. You might scoff at the things I'm telling you, but believe me this stuff really does work, most of the time. Any average guy who learns the proper technics and is confident in his skills can have as many women in his life and his bed as he wants. It's easy to create attraction, if you know how to do it, which obviously the guy you described doesn't.
