I was going to start the garden this weekend, but maybe I'll wait.


Our resident flock of vultures has finally returned. I was starting to worry.

Dammit, I just scorched my breakfast while looking at Amarena's delightful and sexy new set. Go give her some love while I salvage my omelet.

Well fuck, I have the flu and I'm missing a math test (which may not sound like such a bad thing, but I hate getting behind).

So I'm sitting here with my Nyquil listening to Kevin Welch.

This morning in the coffee shop I noticed that I was the only one reading a book. Everyone else was working on their laptops.

The new semester just started. Its strange how math is so much easier now than it was 35 years ago (the last time I took algebra).

I'm not sure how much longer my job is going to last. One of the partners in the company just left, leaving me the only one in the shop. Of course, I've been expecting the company to go under for a couple of years now, so I should be used to it.

I'm off to Colorado to see Mom. Happy Yule, everybody.

My final was cancelled tonight because the teacher is snowed in. I was going to head for Colorado tomorrow, but I'm thinking that Friday looks a lot better. If I were really lucky it would keep snowing through the weekend and I could skip Christmas altogether.

So, dinner with friends tonight and then a quiet solstice meditation.

I was supposed to be in Colorado right now. Instead I'm at home with a nasty cold that won't go away.
