I just accepted a friend request from a woman I've never spoken to. I don't normally do that but her blog looks interesting.
Things at work are getting a little intense. I'm designing a rifle for production. It's something I'm not really trained to do (dammit Jim, I'm a gunsmith, not an engineer). so it has taken me longer than my boss is happy with. The prototype works about 98%, but getting the last few bugs out is maddeningly slow. I keep wondering if I can really pull this off.

Glad you are getting better. It sucks to be sick! (When I get sick I usually get over the main symptoms fast, but residuals stick around for a while!.. hope you don't have that happen.)
I'm sure you can pull of the rifle. If you have it 98% done, the last 2% may take a while, but I'm sure you can pull it off. It's just the part that's a pain! Keep positive.
