Friends of the opposite sex - is it possible?

My thoughts are yes, but that is obviously not the thoughts of others.

A friend came to stay last night and catch up. We had a quiet night, a few beers, bottle of wine and a crackin chinese. Throughout the evening she kept getting texts from her fella, she didn't say much about it.

This morning I had plans to take her out to a good biker pub for breakfast in Wales but when she got up she was upset and told me that she had to leave because her fella had been texting her all night playing mind games with her. What a twat!!

I told my girlfriend that my friend was coming over this weekend and she had no issues whatsoever. My mates boyfriend has spoiled her weekend (and mine) just because of his own issues. To make it worse, he was actually working away this weekend so my friend would have been home alone if she hadn't decided to come and see me.

I hate controlling people. I hate mind games. I hate it when friends get hurt.
