No blogs for a couple days. I've been writing other stuff which is good. I think I'm finally starting to feel better after n\missing only three days of work, which is a whole work week for me. There goes all my accrued sick time. This last week has really made me realize that I need to take much better care of myself.
Every year I buy NHL and FIFA games for my playstation 2 and for the past couple of years I keep bitching about how I need to get a next gen system. The upcoming Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine game will be the impetus to fling myself headlong into next gen heaven. Badass! Don't get me wrong, Gears of War looks awesome. Star Wars, The Old Republic looks awesome, but the Adeptus Astartes will slaughter them both.
I've been watching Iron Maiden: Flight 666 and it has me throwing the devil horns. I'll be in a metal mood for days now. It's amazing how these guys still sell out all over the world and still put on a frenzy of a live show.

I'm playing hooky today. It's not because I'm hungover. It's not because I sexed myself out last night. Nothing so glamorous. I'm still sick. I'm tired of this. I'd rather be bedbound sick for a day or two than deal with this half-assed illness for a week.
My creative juices are flowing again after being stagnant for quite some time. I'm writing again, nothing major, but a start at least. I'm even seriously considering picking up my guitar again. I really miss my band, but that time is gone and I guess it's time I do things for myself.

I'm not as sick today, but I'm still exhausted. Add to that a constant sense of restlessness that's been nagging me for the last week or so. I get like this at times. Unfulfilled, uncomfortable in my own skin. It will pass, it always does, but while in its midst, life just seems to lose a lot of its color for me.
Then there's the horniness. You may say being horny is great, but when no experience matches the need, yeah, that's frustrating.
I want the new Star Wars Old Republic game. It looks amazing and I don't generally go for that type of game because it's hard for me to justify wasting all that time.
What else? Movies. I want to see Pandorum. I want to see Transformers. I want to see Sherlock Holmes even though Robert Downey's take on Holmes seems quite a bit more boisterous than Arthur Conan Doyle's.
