I got my lip pierced again last night. Went to Hot Rod down in Chandler. Made it seven minutes before they closed lol. So now I have a piercing on each side of my lip I'll get pics up as soon as the swelling goes down. I'm beginning to wonder if it ever will since Nalia keeps whacking it lol.

I cut off all my hair. It was long but not anymore. This coming up weekend I'm going to dye it black. I'm trying to make my hair less maintanence because I just don't feel like messing with it 90% of the time.

So John and I went to Wal-Mart last night. We were looking for one of those Febreeze things that plays the disc that has the scents on them. We found the last one. John went to grab it and then he was like "We are so not getting this." I asked why and he showed me. There were cockroaches actually INSIDE the package!! Somehow an egg sack got packed with it and hatched. There were 3 dead adults and it had live babies in it. So um....Ew and definitely NO.

Then we went to go look at hair dye. I could barely find black dye. I picked up a dark brown and said that I should just dye my hair brown. John was like "If I wanted you to have brown hair, I would let you grow it out!" I started laughing because what he had tried to say failed oh-so miserably. And he was like "Yeah that came out totally wrong."

That's basically about it. I'm poking around Microsoft PowerPoint because I have to use it for one of my class finals. It's been 4 yrs since I've used it. So I'm just refreshing my memory.

I'm making up rules for teamwork on Guild Wars because no one on that damn game knows what teamwork is. Especially one person in our guild. He drives me nuts sometimes. Gotta go!

So I finally got my book on the 7th. Yeah. The box had looked like someone had beaten the shit out of it. The UPS guy must not of liked my expression because he totally bolted.

Now we have a pet gecko. John caught one in my mom's backyard and we ended up taking it home with us. John did research and found out that it was a Meditarrean (sp) gecko. Here's the kicker: Meditarrean Geckos are NON-native to Arizona. Since they are non-native, they conveniently make the ideal housepet and can even live up to ten yrs in captivity. That sold John. So welcome Eddie Lizzard to the family. Bonus pts if you can tell me where his name was inspired. Eaglefish-You don't count

Not only did John get us a new "free" pet, but he also gave me and the kids his lovely cold. Nalia got it worse because she's teething so she's extra clingy and extra bitchy. Fun fun. I can't believe she's going to be a year next month and Logan is going to be 3 in January. Where does time fly?

Okay. It is official. I hate UPS.

Last week I found out from my school that my Ethics course materials was not going to be available online so I had to order my book. My book was sent out on the 27th of October. UPS shipping said it would be here by Nov 2nd. I checked the tracking on Nov 1st and found out that my book had arrived Halloween night in Phoenix. So I was getting excited thinking that it may get delivered Tuesday, no later than Wednesday like they had said. Tuesday no book. Wednesday no book. Every night for the past week the damn book has been "in transit". The delivery date was moved to the 3rd, then to the 4th, and now.....the 7th!!!! I am already behind 2 chapters worth of reading assignments. On top of that, I have a small paper due on Sunday that I need the book for.

So I call UPS. I ask them where my book is. "Why it's in Phoenix," they replied. Why don't I have it? "Oh you should be getting it no later than tomorrow (Saturday). It is currently on it's way." It's been on it's way since Tuesday. "Sorry for the inconvienence. It will be there shortly." And now shipping says the 7th??????? WTF????????

Today (Sunday) is my last day of school for two weeks. YAY VACATION!!! I'm so excited I passed my Critical Thinking final. I got a 91% in the class. Now I'm hoping to walk away with at least a 90% in my COM112 class so I can keep my 4.0 GPA.

So I read the thread about Olivia taking down certain photosets because of the supposed "War on Porn" crap.

#1: While I don't think SG would qualify as to what the government is supposedly looking for, I think Olivia did the right thing. Yet, people are bitching at her for it.

Come on people. Use common sense. Wouldn't you rather have certain sets taken down temporarily than for SG to be gone PERMANENTLY? Olivia is just taking precautions just so that you, the paying consumer, can enjoy SG that much more longer.

#2: Bush is not to blame. The people BEHIND him are. If you guys ever paid attention in history class, you would have learned that the President has very little power. Congress is the one with all the power. Anything the President does, Congress can override that. Bush is just fodder. He's just a puppet.

#3: DON'T blame the people that voted for Bush. The last time I checked, people have the RIGHT to vote for whomever they wanted. I, personally, voted for Kerry. And he didn't win. *shrugs* Shit happens-Get over it. This is Bush's last term. You live with the rest of the time he's in there and go vote for someone else. If you hate Bush that much, if you hate the way he "runs" the country so much, move out of the country. Also, if you didn't vote at all, you have no reason to bitch.

Do I agree with Bush is doing? No. I don't agree with anything that he's ever done. But it is NOT the fault of the people that voted him in. Besides, they are suffering just as much as everyone else.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Now I'm waiting for the flames....

I saw NIN!!!! OMG Trent Reznor is so hot! His arms got so HUGE!! And as always, he puts on an uberly awesome show Go get tickets people!!

And today I did a bit of shopping. For the kids mainly. Got them clothes. Got Logan a table to eat at. Threw away that blasted high chair. Got us a kitchen table too. Now I'm just awaiting the arrival for my laser printer. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. It's Newegg for god sakes. They ALWAYS deliver a day early. Which leads me into....

Newegg is an awesome place to get ALL of your computer needs. Prices are awesome and the delivery is fucking amazing!!

My next financial aid check I'm going to save that for Christmas and birthdays. Both kids are getting a party this year. Fun fun!

I'm supposed to be doing two fun photosets but haven't been able to get them done because we're trying to "fix" our apartment. Without going into too much of a bitch-fest:

Our apartment has a pest problem. The apartment management is being extrememly lazy about it. Especially given the fact that the whole freaking building has a pest problem. So John and I have been trying to combat the problem ourselves. And this Thursday we're doing a major fogging ourselves. After we get the place cleaned up of dead bodies everywhere, then I'll be doing the photosets.
