PETA has taken it upon themselves to rename fish "sea kittens".

"WHY DEAR GOD???" do you ask?

Because apparently they are out to save the "sea kittens" from getting eaten. They are against eating fish in general as well as sushi. And since fish aren't cute and cuddly on their own, PETA is revamping the whole fishy image.

I'm going to enjoy watching people's faces as I tell them I am eating sea kittens.

Oh-And be sure to check out their "Sea Kitten Facts". Quite entertaining.

Thanks everyone for all the great compliments on the preview pics That set was just a practice set so DarkRam and I could see how well we would work together. We will be shooting an actual set sometime in November that WILL be submitted. As soon as I have the finalized practice set, I will definitely post the link to get your guys' feedback

I'm hoping that school will go buy quickly this week. I only have 3 days total of school this week because the school is closing from Oct 23rd-28th for the Forum in TX (hair show competition for all the beauty schools across the nation).

Thursday I will be going to Applebee's in Tempe with Frankus_Suicide. Bitten, Khru, Pisces101, aldremech, and Slacker_Elite will all be there. Hopefully more locals show up cuz SGAZ is such a fun group of people. I am super duper excited to hang out with Frankus_Suicide because it's a rarity we get to see each other.

Friday I will be at Sushi 101 with DarkRam. I know he plugged for the locals to come out if they wanted so I don't know if anyone will be joining us.

I think this weekend I'm going to omit having a life so I can do Warhammer hardcore. John wants me to get my sorceress to lvl 19 as soon as I possibly can so her and his marauder can quest together. Right now it's my witch elf and his magus that are paired up. I can't wait to do some RVRs with him because with our melee/ranged DPS combo, we are forces to be reckoned with!

Today I will be getting Warhammer. On the plus side-I will only be going to school 3 days this week because the school will be closed for the forum. So.....I have plenty of time to temporarily not have a life for me to power lvl my witch elf back to lvl 16. On the uberly plus side-I WILL have enough mount money by the time I am lvl 20 because my current witch elf has almost 11g. She probably will have close to 12g by the time John gets done selling all of her shit. He is currently prepping her for deletion. I'm not going to delete her til I am ready to reclaim my name.

Speaking of names....I've been toying with the idea of changing my current name on here. Part of me feels like I've kind of out-grown it but at the same time, I've gone by this name for so freaking long, it would be hard for me to give it up.

Later on today when I feel like it, I will post up some sneak pre-photoshopped pics of the practice set DarkRam shot a week or so ago. Just enough to give you guys a taste of what's to come

DarkRam and I just lazed around Chandler Mall before heading back to his place and lazying around some more.

I have no clue what I'm doing tomorrow other than watching True Blood. I redid my blue tonight because some previous purple was poking through and I was not going to have that!

My mind is running on fumes right now. I realized a few hrs ago that I only got like 4 hrs of sleep lol

I've been having the weirdest dreams lately. One of them was about an SG member that I've met a couple of times. Weirdness....

Yesterday I made another loyal client. She wanted to tone down the amount of red in her color. Instructor and I looked over her previous color formulas and saw that there was too much gold. So we cut out half the gold tones in her hair which made it a more golden blondish brown. She said she was going to come back in 4 weeks for me to redo her color for her son's wedding. YAY!

And tonight I got another loyal client as well. A simple highlight and haircut. I seriously need to invest in a camera so I can start building up a portfolio before I graduate from school. I have about 6 months left so I need to get cracking.

John got the bone marrow plans finalized today as well. We're going to be in Washington DC from November 3rd-6th. I requested a 2 week LOA (leave of absence) so having that week off won't fuck up my contract. With an LOA they will just add the 2 weeks to the end of my contract.

Tonight I had dinner with DarkRam. We were going to see Max Payne tonight but the last showing was at 10:15. So we're just going to see it tomorrow morning.

I'm going to be redoing my blue this weekend. I have a purple patch coming through already. Can't have that. Next time maybe I'll wait the 24 hrs after relaxing my hair before I do a permanent semi-permanent lol

The parent/teacher conference was yesterday. They tested Logan to see how much he knew before they taught him everything and he knew way more than normal. He recognized almost all of the alphabet lower case and upper case so of course he mastered what they taught him. The only thing he didn't reallly know was letter sounds but he's mastered that anyway.

Math wise-Excelled there too. He went beyond what they taught him. She said the only issue that she's had with him is that it's hard for him to focus sometimes. She's afraid that as the material eventually gets harder, he may not do so well. However, she also did say that he has an awesome memory. He retains everything. He's also very courteous and he notices every little detail. Like if one of his classmates is absent, he notices right away and wants to know why they're not there. He's very helpful and likes to compliment others. She said that his motor skills have gotten better. For example, when he started to learn how to use scissors, he pretty much contorted his arm and now he holds them properly.

The only bad remarks he got were from the P.E. teacher. Meh-No biggie. When allowed to run around, we know what he'll do. I told John that since the weather is cooling off, we can start taking the kids to the park more often. Maybe then we can teach Logan stuff similar to what they do in P.E. so the teacher doesn't think he's the spawn of Satan or something.

Last night I tried to attempt to take a nice little dip in the jacuzzi over at DarkRam's. Yeah....That didn't work out so much The jacuzzi wasn't working. While the water was definitely warmer than the pool, it was still pretty cold. I lasted about 45 minutes before I started shivering. It definitely woke me up!

One of my friends came back from her 1 month LOA (leave of absence). It took me all of 10 min to fill her in on my juicy gossip. We mainly just talked about her, her boyfriend, and her pregnancy (she's 16 weeks now). I colored her hair and tonight whenever we're not so busy, I'm going to cut it.

I found out that I *might* get some money reimburst from school. My loans were dispursed and there may be some extra money. I'm not holding my breath, though. It would be nice to get some money to help out with bills but I'm not going to rely on it.

One of the girls at school who no one can stand, left in the middle of her test out. Apparently, she was freaking out over doing a french braid and made up some bullshit story to leave. The girl that was testing out with her said that she was practically crying as she ran out the door. This girl is not going to last one week out on the floor if she keeps freaking out like this.

On the plus side, more people are coming out on the floor or back from their LOA so whenever we get busy, I shouldn't have to be doing 3 clients in a row. Two understandably. And with a break. But not the way it was last Friday. That majorly sucked ass.

Another plus-The girl at the front desk said I did a haircut and style in one hour And yes that is a good thing considering you have to do:
1) A client consultation
2) Shampoo/Conditioning
3) Haircut
4) Blow dry style
All in that one hour.

Nothing much else is going on today. I'm planning on going out this Friday with DarkRam. I think he wants to go see Max Payne (like I'm going to object).

Back to the daily War grind!

John helped me get Warhammer installed on my computer. Windows, for some reason, was not liking my DVD drive. So John rigged an external DVD drive and got Warhammer installed for me. I'm on his account but at least now I can play without worrying if his computer is going to freeze up on me. Warhammer runs really nice on the "new" system and now I can really test out my new Merc Stealth keyboard hehe.

The date went pretty well Friday night. We went to P.F. Chang's for dinner and then followed up with a Rock Band Marathon. I'm getting much better with the medium setting. I wonder how much longer before I try my hand at hard?

John found out more info about his bone marrow donation. If all goes well, we'll be flying out to DC on the 21st. That works out well for me because the school is going to be closed from the 23rd-28th so I only have to worry about Tues/Wed (maybe Mon). We'd be flying back sometime that Friday. John should know what's going on by the end of the day today.

This weekend was really busy. We drove to Safford on Saturday to go to my uncle's funeral. It was weird being back in the Mormon church and listening to the sermons. I hadn't been to church since I was 14.

The funeral was nice. My mom did a good chunk of the planning right down to making the programs. She also found a picture of my uncle and I when I was a kid. He used to be Santa so its of him all dressed up as Santa and me sitting on his lap. I was surprised that he even had it.

Now he's no longer in pain and he's with his son, grandson, and his parents. That's all that matters.

My mom gave John her old computer because she couldn't get it to work anymore. She had bought an Alienware system. Her old system was better than what my system is. So after we got home yesterday, John went to work on it and low and behold-her old system worked perfectly! So now I have her old system (and 230GB of space!). I can run WoW and Warhammer on it. I just need to reinstall WoW and get Warhammer now lol

I got the proofs back from the practice photoset. I have yet to look at them yet but I will do that today. I'm supposed to pick out my favorite ones and then DarkRam is going to photoshop them all pretty like with the logos and all. I'm not sure if I will be submitting the set yet because I don't know if we'll have enough pics for it. But even if we don't submit, I will be doing another one that will be submitted hopefully before the MR queue reaches a 3 month wait.
