Start looking for the "surprise" by tomorrow

Tonight is going to be fun. Dinner and a movie with DarkRam. Tomorrow John and I are going to one of his friends for a barbeque. I also have to start packing sometime today for us and the kids. However, the packing has been slightly derailed because we got a new couch today. Well, sort of new. One of our other friends was getting rid of their couch because they got new ones. Their old one is way better than our couch so we took them. It's one of those L shaped couches. It looks really nice.

The kids had fun Trick or Treating. I'm just disappointed that people quit passing out candy so early. When I was growing up, trick or treaters came up til around 11pm or midnight. Nowadays-People close shop around 8 to 8:30. Like WTF people? Doesn't anyone like Halloween anymore? Or are they too obsessed about it being Satan's holiday? (<----Sarcasm for those who can't tell)

I passed my mini-boards and mid-term last night I got an 82% on my mini-boards and 86% on my mid-term. Not bad for a first attempt I have to practice my perm wrapping and thermal curling (neither which I've done since I left Phase 1). And I have to speed up my hair cut a little bit. Just by like 5 minutes.

Today marks the first day of my fun-filled weekend. After Logan gets out of school, I'm taking the kids shopping for their costumes. They will probably be wearing them as soon as they get home. I need to find the other stocking to my "costume".

So....WTF is up with the new SG feed? It's so cluttered. It wouldn't be so bad if I had like 5 friends. But I have like over 300 and now this is going to be more difficult to keep track of people.

Today I have my first mini-boards. I'm nervous about it mainly because it's been like forever since I've done a couple of the things like thermal curls and a perm wrap. Hopefully I'll do okay. On the plus side-I won't have to take clients today. YAY!

I just want the weekend to be here already. When I woke up this morning, I asked John if it was Friday already. Tomorrow is Halloween (obviously) so I'm really looking forward to taking the kids trick-or-treating. This is going to be Lily's official year of receiving free candy from strangers lol

Saturday it's dinner and a movie with DarkRam. We will be seeing this.

I also have a surprise for you guys on Saturday but you probably won't get it til Sunday. Don't worry. I promise you it will be worth the wait

And then Sunday we will be shipping the kids off and packing for our trip to DC. No school for two weeks. I'm excited

Yes I know I don't get outside much. But when I can walk to my son's school wearing a long sleeved shirt and it not kill me, then yeah-that's cooling off to me

On another note:

I hate the kids in our neighborhood. All of them. Every single one of them. Annoying little shits. How am I going to survive the school years with my kids???

John got our flight plans today for the bone marrow. We're leaving around 9:30am Monday morning and our flight leaves after 5:30pm Thursday. Both flights are direct. YAY! John is bringing his laptop so I'll be able to blog from DC lol

I tried out Guitar Hero World Tour last night. That was quite interesting. You pretty much need talent to play that shit. Maybe that's why I like Rock Band better. More simple

I'm thinking about turning Lilith into the child of Frankenstein for Halloween. I've already planned out what I'm going to do to her hair. It was John's idea actually.

Nothing much is really going on. I'm so glad the weather is cooling off finally. Maybe now I can go outside without dying.

So apparently today was daylight savings time. Our stupid clock that recognizes it reset one hour early. So we were kind of one hour behind today. It's a good thing it did that today and not tomorrow or else we would have all been screwed.

What gets me about our clock is that it recognizes Arizona as it's own time zone. And it was made AFTER Arizona stopped observing DST but it doesn't recognize that. Stupid clock.

My internet is being stupid too. Trying to play WAR and it's making it damn difficult. Even as I'm typing this I'm watching my connection go on and off. Bastards. Cox will never fix it. And we've lived here for almost 3 yrs.

Sushi 101 was quite fun. Stevie_D showed up. After Sushi 101, the three of us (DarkRam) went to Rula Bula for some more drinks. All in all, I had about 4 martinis. Yummy apple ones.

And now today we're trying to find out who has a shovel because our guinea pig died. We'll be burying him first thing in the morning.

Last night was extremely fun! I got to hang out with Frankus, Slacker_Elite, aldremech, Pisces101, Bitten, MainEventMedia, and DarkRam. I seriously wish I had my own camera so I can take my own collection of pics lol One day..dammit...ONE DAY!!

Tonight is Sushi 101 MMMMMMM Sea kittens I'm not sure who all is showing up but I think I'm going to break down and wear a dress lol

I don't have anything planned for the weekend so I think John and I are going to waste it away playing Warhammer. I'm trying to get my sorceress to 19/20 because John's marauder is almost 20. Right now she's barely 11. I specced her destruction which is the AoE tree. I'll see how I like that. I usually go for the straight DPS so I thought I'd try something different. I also made a Disciple of Khaine so if John makes a tank, she'll be ready for that. We usually try to pair up classes that compliment each other because we feed off each other when we do PvP. Right now our 2 pairs of characters are grouped ranged DPS with melee DPS.

Tonight is going to be such a fine night! I am sooooo looking forward to it Frankus is going to be picking me up around 4ish. I'm trying to find ways to make the time pass quicker. Of course, counting down the minutes isn't helping lol

I still have to put an outfit together for tonight. Originally, I was going to wear a dress but I fell in the parking lot at my apartment place. I think I landed on a rock or something because my knee is bruised and it has a nice sized hole in it. A nice chunk of skin peeled off. Nice, eh? And my knee is still swollen lol So pants it is for tonight

Tomorrow night I'm going to be at Sushi 101 with DarkRam eating some sea kittens (gotta help control the population since you can't spay/neuter sea kittens). If any locals are in the area and wanna come, feel free to stop by!
