Frankus and I are making plans for Sunday. Lunch and a movie. I'm looking forward to it. It's been way too fucking long since we've since each other (I'm thinking first sushi meetup...). It will be a nice date and change of pace.

John and I have to drive all the way to Thatcher Saturday to pick up Nalia. My mom's car is fucking up so she didn't want to take the chance of getting stranding driving here to drop Nalia off. The sucky part is that we won't know the movie times for Dark Knight until Friday so I'm hoping we'll still be able to go. And in case you guys don't know: Thatcher is about 75 miles away from the New Mexico border. It's a 3 hr drive. It's like driving to Flagstaff but going east. I'm hoping to leave here at 5am to get there by 8 and by back hopefully by noon or so. We are going to be so fucking tired....I'm glad DnD was moved to Sundays lol

I've been thinking about getting my lip pierced again. Yes I know. Hardly anyone will like it BUT I've been wanting it for a long ass time. I think it's called a half lip and I just want a stud.

Last night I went to go visit my friend Erin at work. She works at a Cajun bar in Tempe. Yesterday was a really slow day that the manager kept having her clock in and out. The manager is also the bartender and this guy makes the most awesomest of awesome-o mixed drinks. He makes mixed drinks exactly the way I like them: with tons of alcohol but even more flavor. You can't even taste the alcohol in it. He made me their house drink called Shame on Me. I have no clue what was in it except that it had rum. It tasted like grapefruit/pink lemonade oh god it was sooooo yummy. He made someone else at the bar a drink called an Otter Pop. It's dark blue and purple and tasted just like grape kool-aid. And they sell food there too so you can get your drink on AND eat yummy stuff!!

I'm trying to convince Erin to reapply for SG soon. I told her that all she would need to do is just resubmit some new pics. She's going to ask Elisia to redo her application pics. But she probably won't reapply til August because she's got some court stuff coming up.

I joked with Erin about how she could use the bar for a photoset and she was saying that she didn't think they would like her do it. The manager was like "Do what?" and I told him. He was like "Oh yeah you could totally do it here! We could just make sure the lights are set so you can out but you can't see in!" I think Erin was a bit surprised lol

I'm hoping to hang out with her again sometime before I go back to school.

We have successfully enrolled Logan into kindergarten! They are giving us some leeway since we don't have his birth certificate. When we go back for the Meet the Teacher on Aug 7th, I have to bring in the receipt that we got his birth certificate if we haven't already received it. He starts Aug 11th. Has to be there by 7:50am AND.......

It's all day kindergarten!! Woah....How is he going to handle that? Logan has the attention span of a gnat...I hope he does well.

I can already tell that this week will probably crawl. On the plus side: I thought I would be started school next week but it's really the week after. So I still have like 2 weeks left

This weekend John and I are seeing Dark Knight via his work. He got discounts on the tickets. However, we won't know when this weekend til either Thursday or Friday.

Today was pretty boring, though. Just did the bane of my existence.

Tomorrow is Logan's registration day. Hopefully we will be able to get him enrolled without a birth certificate. We still have not been able to find it so this Friday we are going to order another one. I know we did have it because DES needed it once because they didn't have birth records for him. I'm seriously hoping John didn't accidentally leave it with them. He doesn't think he did but if he did, I doubt they would still have it since they suck about keeping track with those things. Anywho-I'm calling the school first thing in the morning to see if there is something else we could use instead. If not, I'm going to try to explain the situation so I can still get him enrolled. I don't want him to be a month behind in school because of that. If he does get enrolled, his first day will be Aug 11th. My mom helped get him a backpack, new clothes, and some school supplies while Logan spent the week with her. I am looking forward to him starting school as much as I am dreading it. Kindergarten at his school is only like 3-4 hrs a day so it won't be so bad. I think I'm going to be more nervous than he will be lol

I'm back from my trip!!!

Friday Day 1: Norritt and I arrived in Flagstaff about 1pm. However, the hotel people wouldn't let us check in til 3. So we decided to walk around Historical Flagstaff/Route 66 for a couple of hours to give us an idea what was down there. After we were able to check in, we scouted a place to do the altar photoset. When we found a place we liked, we had dinner (chinese) and then we went to see a movie. There was a line at the movie theater for Dark Knight that wrapped around the building and it looked like it got longer when our movie was done. I think Flagstaff only has one movie theater.

Saturday Day Two: We did the photoset first thing in the morning. I'm debating still whether or not I want to submit it since I have 2 sets in the queue for member review right now. My self shot set goes live in member review Aug 25th @ 2:29pm. So I know this set wouldn't get shown til September. Here are outtakes from the set that ARE NOT being used in the final set:

After the photoset, we tried to have lunch at the Museum Club but they sort of ignored us. The server kept looking at us and passing us by. So we decided to go to Miz Zips instead. After lunch, we went to the Museum of Northern Arizona to see the dinosaur exhibit. We went back to the hotel to relax for a few hours before we went out again. We bought some movies to watch and then went out for sushi at the Karma place. We tried going to The Joint because it was supposedly Flagstaff's only strip club but we ddin't see any stripping going on there. We decided just to call it a night and watch the movies.

Sunday Day Three: I woke up with a massive headache (I actually went to bed with one) so we pretty much just packed up and checked out. We got gas and I got some pain killers and drove back. The trip was pretty fun. I love Flagstaff. I wish I could live there but it's so damn expensive for both renting and buying. One day...one day...

Today is Norritt's birthday. Be sure to give him some birthday love! I'm almost done making his cheesecake. Tonight we're going to see Kill Hannah.

My other friend that applied for SG was denied. So there goes the theory that everything is automated. I'm trying to convince her to take some new pics and resubmit (I've seen Hopefuls do this) but she's not really sure if she wants to. Sorry, I don't have a pic of her other than my phone and I don't know how to upload phone pics.

Norritt is making wallpaper and banners to promote my new set so if you want some, be sure to harass him for them. I know he's already got one wallpaper in his pics section.
