On both WoW and AoC I've run across people who find it odd, or are bewildered, or plain ass refuse to acknowledge that hey, girls like to play computer games too!
Are they threatened by the possibility that the rogue/shaman/assassin/druid/whatever that just mutiliated their ass on the other side of that keyboard is a chick?
Fuck you guys that think gaming is a man's world. I was raised on video games and if it wasn't for my MOTHER, I wouldn't be playing MMORPGs. And the next person whose throat I slit on AoC, I hope is one of those retarded guys that think girls can't play video games.

What really gets me is the guys who play as chicks. And the other guys that fall for it.
The guys I run with on DDO are usually really chivalrous to the women. They'll make it a point to look after your back - and they tend to be really respectful in how they talk to you.
My husband plays a chick sometimes - he says that's its more of a pleasure watching a womam's behind than a man's. LOL
We've heard guys talking about it and they claim that they can tell if a guy is playing a chick. We just fall over laughing. The real pain is that he flirts with all the guys and they give him weapons all the time. After nearly a year of playing, I just got my first "gift" last night...I must be really awful at flirtting. 
Your just playing the wrong game.... I didn't like WoW or AoC...

Awww, I wanted to play as Drusylla I doubt I could do the name justice though. Yeah, I have ran across quite a few girl VG players. Espesically here on SG. I just don't always assume that a female toon is backed by a girl player 
Hell, even Conan had respect for female warriors. Show those fools a thing or two
