Girls, please tell me. Is there something about me that I don't know about that puts other women off?

Seriously. I don't try very hard to get a gf but when I do find someone that I'm interested in, the door gets shut in my face before I can reach it. I haven't had a gf in 2 yrs and I do miss the female companionship.
