Sorry I haven't been really talkative to some of you guys but we're still dealing with shit from our apartment. For the past few weeks, we have not been able to get a hold of them whatsoever about renewing our lease. We've been trying to renew since March. John has been calling them every day, 3 to 4 times a day and leaving messages. Whenever he goes down there, the office is always closed.

Today is the last day of our lease and we have not been able to renew. Period. We have never gotten an eviction notice and low and behold-rent is due tomorrow.

I seriously don't know what to do at this point. I want to file a complaint so badly but I don't know how long it's going to take or whether or not it will be effective. The only thing the management has told us is "You're on the list to renew your lease so just wait til we get to you." And that was at the beginning of April. Oh-And we got a notice yesterday that they are inspecting the apartments tomorrow. They have time to inspect everything (if they fucking show up-the last 2 times they've sent out inspection notices, they've never shown up) but god forbid they take 15 minutes out of their time to collect some fucking signatures.

We do not have the money to move or else we would. We won't be staying here next year though. We'll be using our tax refund and hopefully renting a house. By April 09, I'm hoping to be in the process of getting my license and sending out my resume to some places that I want to work. On the plus side, we'll *hopefully* have a roommate which will help until I'm able to get a job.

Seriously-If there was a way to move out of this shithole anytime soon, I would so eagerly take it. The management here is so beyond fucked up.
