Well, its been a busy week. I apologise for the lack of blockage, but what with one thing and another, I haven't had a chance.
Yesterday marked my last day at work before the move. My boss offered the most excruciating leaving speech, managing to reference my book, my failed marriage and my height whilst simultaneously attempting to compliment me. Still, my colleagues were insanely generous, donating Forbidden Planet vouchers and a poster of Kat Von D. But best of all was the card they all signed.

Which wasn't a card at all, but a copy of Grant Morrison and Paul Dini's 'The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul'. How friggin' thoughtful is that?
Orange mobile called me as well, the upshot being that yesterday also marked the day I entered the 21st century. I now own a touchscreen phone. Honestly? I hate it. Its far too fiddly for this little brain. But I'll give it a chance. I don't like being defeated

In readiness for my new role, I have new hair

Recommended by a friend, I'm reading Neal Stephenson's Quicksilver. So far its the best novel I've read all year, weaving some very sophisticated ideas into a nifty plot.
And finally, some Youtube goodness. I implore you to watch the whole ten minutes
