So, I got an email from a mate in Australia saying a letter had arrived from the Australian Government informing me that I am now divorced. I went out on Sunday and had a really wild night. I came home drunk exhilarated.
I'm doing awesome stuff with my sculpture. My career is pushing onward and upwards. I'm working with a pretty big company in America producing a piece with awesome potential. It's going to catch like a fire when it hits the market. I'm also working for a french company now, along side my heroes in the business. It's crazy to think that the artists I worshipped are now my peers. I need to learn french so I can go meet these guys one day. I'm the only american working for them, so it's quite an honour. Everyone knows the french are the best at what we do. I'll show you some work as soon as I can!
I want a life like this video. I want that deep connection with another person. I need a partner in crime, someone to go on adventures with. But now I realise that I can't have that and I am learning to be happy being alone. I make my own adventures and meet lots of people but nothing is going to stick and I know this. Aloneness is a feeling, and we treat it with alcohol

I'm about 5 minutes from heading out the door to go and have one last dinner in California then it's off to the airport and to New York!

PS. Life in other areas is good! I moved to Long Beach, I live about two and a half blocks from the beach. I rescued a dog from the pound and she's absolutely amazing. I love being back in California.
