So I went out last night cause a friend of mine from ottawa was down and we all got wasted. pretty fun time BUT when i get home I was talking to synnove and i mentioned the bruins won. The game was on at the party i was at but i didn't watch much of it. Anyway, she already knew the B's won and asked if i saw the chara save. I didn't see the save but that didn't really matter, I was incredibly suprised and happy that
1. She knew who won
2. Actually watched part of the game without me
3. Talked about a save that someone made
4. Sounds like she's going to actually be a fan.
Needless to say I love this woman so much. Not that I didn't before but it just keeps getting better.
Also she bought me a wii for christmas and we've been playing that pretty regularly.
What a gal.
Might have more time after christmas to do stuff on here but I doubt it, i'll be going to school full time working on my master's as well as teaching an undergrad course.

Actually, we kinda revel in our ineptitude. All I know is that when the day comes and we actually DO win something? It's going to be a celebration like you've never seen before.
I remember ('cause I'm old) the Flyers winning the Cup(s) and the Phils winning the Series. People were literally dancing in the streets. No violence, no riots, no any of that ... just a bunch of happy (and, mostly drunken) people.
The first Cup win, the parade along Broad Street drew TWO MILLION PEOPLE and yielded no arrests.
