Been off work again today.
Spent most of the time catching up on banner requests here on Suicide Girls.
I've also been watching anime whilst I work.

Remember the other day when I said that I need to take a day off work to catch up on loadsa work?
Well I've had to today.

2nd night running I've had very little sleep.
I also think I'm coming down with something. Feels like a cold. It's horrible!

Plan for today?
Lie in bed and do some photoshop work!
Oh, and listen to Itunes as well, that always keeps me company

Hope Laura brings me lots of lemsip and beechams goodness in tonight, I fucking well need it!

Work sucks.

Just holding out.
Not for a hero, but for me possibly packing up and moving to Brighton.
I could be living there by the end of the year for about 4 or 5 years at least.
Quite scary considering I've never been before!
I've been speaking to Machiko about Brighton though and it sounds awsome!

Sat and watched the first half hour of The Colour of Magic earlier tonight. Then I had to put it off though as there was a really naff documentary on BBC2 about clowns - who funnily enough all seemed to live in the Brighton area! Was a really funny documentary. I'm sure it wasn't meant to be though

Laura has fallen asleep and is lying with her left hand on the right hand corner of my laptop where my right wrist is meant to go! Grrrrrrrrrr

It feels weird, I had a 4 day weekend last week cause of my birthday. Sometimes I wish that all weekends where that long. Then I just think that if they were then I'd wish for a 5 day weekend. Then a 6.

Anyone up to anything cool?
Me and the missus are totally outta money so we'll probably not be up to much exciting
I won't be around here after 10pm tonight, going round to Laura's for the weekend.
We stay at my parents' house during the week as it's easier for me to get to work but stay at hers for the weekend as it makes a nice change.

Don't worry though, I'll be getting on with loadsa SG artwork whilst I'm away

okay, I know that I promised 2 weeks ago that I would Start making the banners and fan art.. But it has taken me this long to get my graphics tablet working with windows bloody Vista!
mind you, that doesn't include the 5 day bender I had for my birthday!
I'm just lounging round at the moment, writing this blog entry, gonna have a smoke then Start work on them all.
Annoyingly I won't be able to Spend all day on them though as I'm in work in a few hours

It's been quite a fun few months here at castle DoK.
Since doing that course I mentioned in my last blog entry I am now learning the in and outs of 3d animation. It's loadsa fun.
I've also been given loadsa money to make a couple of music videos Which is always a bonus.
Oh, and I've finally got a laptop. A sexy Sony VAIO VGN-AR61M...

I'm loving it!

Got loadsa requests for artwork on here now, and to top it all off I'm going away for a few days!

I'm going on a music course type thingy. 2 of the 3 leaders are pretty cool... 1 is Sandra Kerr - The woman who did all the music for bagpuss...


And another of the leaders is Nitin Sawhney - The dude who did the music for Heavenly Sword


I can't remember offhand who the other leader is but I'm sure it'll be a fun few days.
It's gonna teach us different skills needed for teaching music (If I remember rightly lol)

About 10 hours sleep in about 4 or 5 nights.
I'm fed up.

Laura thinks there's a something wrong with me physically.

Truth is I'm always like this around this time of year.

I get to thinking about things in the run up to christmas, what would it be like if certain people were still around, what would it be like if i had done things differently... The usual lol.

Thing on my mind mostly is, I wonder what christmas would be like if my daughter were still here.
Yep, you read it right.
I can't actually believe I'm sitting typing this into my blog for all the world to read!
Had a fling with an older woman (just by a bit mind lol) when I was younger which resulted in her having a baby on New Years night. Unfortunately we had split up by this point but were still on speaking terms (but it somehow felt odd as it felt as though there was something she was holding back - which I later found out about lol) I didn't actually find out about the baby until I rang her up on New Years day to have her mother start shouting down the phone at me about what I had done to her daughter.
Like I say, she gave birth New Years night, shortly after midnight if I remember rightly, but there was a problem, she was born with just one lung and her heart wasn't working correctly.
The hospital tried everything they could to save her, but by the Wednesday she was dead. Wednesday the 5th Jan.
Phew, sorry if that's depressed you, it certainly depressed me! And believe me, the story gets a lot more twisted from that point on, I will however, save that for another time! Let's get back to what I started talking about before going off on a tangent...

The silly thing (and quite upsetting thing for me) is the fact that before Laura went out to work this morning we were lying talking about things and she was coming up with ideas about why I'm not sleeping at the minute. Laurie-Jo (my daughter) didn't actually come into my mind until about halfway through the conversation.
