Recently, a fellow Magic the Gathering player went to her first tournament. But her “Teacher” went off to ditch her because he couldn’t handle the “humiliation” of losing to a newb.

Here’s the thing, if you have been teaching someone to play a game and they beat you.
Don’t feel humiliated. In fact, be proud of yourself for being such a good teacher.
