That's a great pic of you and the Hon Da in action. Luck is good. Isn't the autumn air grand? Each year I'm surprized by the angle of the light and the long shadows. In another 3 weeks or so the sky and the rays from the setting sun will be spectacular.

Well, it's 7am on what may be a special day, and maybe you're in Truro or Brooklyn or Tokyo and I'm in Manchuria. I just slipped a Dido cd into the player, cause for some unknown reason I always make a connection between those poem dreams and you; just a little reminder. Maybe you're already running, for the bus, or the cat, or a bit of paper that slipped away, or a feeling. Maybe you're staring at the steam rising from some coffee, or the orange pulp sticking to the rim of a glass sitting next to half a bottle of vodka. Maybe you're already in the studio, intent about the next curve or cursing a dull quill. I don't know. All I can be certain of is the wish that sometime today something will make you smile, and you'll feel happy.
