This one's a long one folks....

Alright, so check-it-out. Im officially, no longer a washingtonian. Wheeee!!! bastards!! MWUAHAHAHA!!! I wish i could put rockatiki in a self-addressed envelope and she could mail herself to me

So here's the story behind the trip. We left WA at 11pm Tuesday night. We get going, and im falling asleep while my hubby is driving. And as expensive as it was to rent the POS you;d think it would have a tape player, or a cd player or something feesable to listen to music with. But NOOOOO so we get to snoqualmie pass (pass #1), we pull over so we can look for my husbands MP3 player, took us like an hour to find it

So we get going and go over the pass going like 40... wheeeee... so we hit tri-cities and goto Wal*mart to get some stuff for the trip, we get out, and go get some gas and I get out of the truck.. and low-and-behold, the fucking sun is coming up.... i look at the clock and it's *4AM*! (for all of you who don't know, tri-cities (dry-shities) is like a 3-4 hour drive from Seattle) so it took us 6 fucking hours to get there. Well, we decide to drive all night, because it's going to take us forever if we stop for the night at a hotel or anything. So we get going.. So, my turn to drive while Hubby sleeps..well I printed out these lovely directions from MSN... and they were just shit. They took us the long way to get to OR. it could have taken us like 25 minutes, but it ended up taking us like an hour to get to OR. Fucking nerds.

So we;re on the road again... we hit OR, and we drive for like another hour... there's this pass in OR (pass#2). you're basically on the side of this cliff for like 50 miles... scary shit. Lemme tell ya. I don;t have a fear of heights, just a fear of uncontrolable ones, like a big ass cliff on the side of a mountain with no guard rail. So I'm driving, and it gets worse, we're coming down the pass and there's this fucking big ass river, and all these scary signs... our truck is 26' long 12' high, and we're towing a Taurus too. So we get into a small town about 10'ish. Well, i took some NO-DOZ and they made me fucking sick. It was horrible. So we're at this denny's getting food, the whole time I want to puke, but no luck. So we get done and get into the U-haul. well, it takes like 15 minutes to start because of all the fucking grinding and everything it's doing. U-haul is basically owned by the devil.

So it starts and we get going, we're driving for about another hour or so and we see this rest stop sign... below it it says there's not another one for about 100 miles... so Non says "we can wait" and i kindly told him I have to puke because of my stomach and if he doesn't pull over he will get a boot in his face. So, needless to say, he pulled over. SO i get done with my business, we play with PJ for like 15 minutes, get in the truck....

the fucker doesn't start.

3 or 4 fucking hours later, a guy from U-haul comes and says we need a new starter, he replaces it right there, I notify him that he needs a holiday or a beer named after him for saving our asses. He chuckles, i grin, yadda yadda, we take off.

So we get going and our lovely directions lead us through a wild goose chase in Idaho... (by the way, if anyone from ID. is reading this.... FIX YOUR FUCKING ROADS!) so we eventually get to Twin Falls, ID , and we're basically like "fuck this where the hell are we" so we stop at a gas station, no one knows how the fuck to get to UT. Bastards. So we call Non's dad and ask, well conviently enough, he's never head of the place. so we buy a map. Good ol' maps. Fuck mapquest, fuck maps.yahoo.com, fuck msn all together.

So I drive, Jon's been driving for hours. So, we go over another pass (pass #3) the fucking uhaul goes a whopping 25 in a 75. Then we hit the other road..... goes straight for 115 miles, i shit you not, no turns no sides, nothing.

We get to UT. finally. it's now about 8pm. well we get there and there's another pass... this time... 20mph and dropping. wheeeeee.... we have fucking semi's passing us carrying 2 trailers. .... yay....

so we stop and wendy's get to our house, yadda yadda

Thanks to the LOVELY U-haul and MSN a 14 hour drive
took us 23 hours.
