I've been lurking here too much lately. I still check it constantly, but I rarely post. It's kind of ridiculous because I often type out responses to people, but then delete them. In the past I've had negative responses from people and it stops me from posting. I shouldn't let that stop me, but it does.

I keep making beef jerky and it's amazing. I'm addicted to it. I wish I had a dehydrator to make it easier, but I'm making do with my oven. Just a lot of bending over and a sore back the next day. But it's so good! I like to have it as a snack throughout the day. Yummy yummy.

I'm getting my hair cut on Monday by HowdyPardner. I tried to this week, but I went to the wrong place. There's 2 places here with the same name, but one is an institute and one is a salon. I went to the institute and it was over a mile away. While I was a half hour early for my appointment, I didn't find out I was at the wrong place until there was less than 20 min till it. I couldn't find the bus stop so I was too late. It was my frist time using public transit alone so I was pretty upset about it going badly. Technically, I made it to the address I looked up and successfully used both the light rail and a bus, but it wasn't the right place. Hopefully next time will go much more smoothly.
