Time for this thing to rise from the grave. There will be more effort placed on life support this time around.

Camping was filled with amazingness. The cabins were definitely a nice touch this year, mostly cause my lazy ass didn't have to put up and take down a tent.

All in all it was a rage filled weekend that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I must give big ups to all my new com padres that I met on this rager. Yall's some awesome motherfuckers.

I will update this more when I'm not tired and can better articulate.

So I went to see Jonathan Coulton again last night. It was the late show of a 2 show night for him. As with last time Paul and Storm opened. Both of them rocked just as much as I remembered despite the crowd not being as into them due to the late hour of the performance. For those that are unfamiliar with the mans work he is the writer of the Zombie song I sang at the camping trip.

Education is in order:Enlightenment

Songs to note are RE:Your Brains, Skullcrusher Mountain, and First of May

You can preview all the tracks in full on that there link. Enjoy folks!

Well now that I'm back from my big city adventure I have learned a few things.
1. Chicago closes around 8:30PM. Much to my dismay this rendered me unable to dine at the illustrious Eat Drink. Though I was able to capture the grandeur:
Clearly we're dealing with the upper echelons of fine dining here.

2. Double Decker trains are awesome. Since I spent a good deal of time in the actual suburbs for the wedding I got to commute on the Chicago Metra Hooray for being on a double decker train and sitting backwards!

3. Staying 2 blocks from an Irish Pub most definitely has its benefits. Got to wait 20 minutes for a train? Why not stop in and have a pint before you go. Any place that has Harp on tap and looks like something straight out of Dublin is A OK in my book. Another big plus is the waitresses that are straight off the boat from Ireland. Irish accents FTW!

4. Being escorted about town by two fine young ladies definitely has its benefits. Ill refer you to exhibit A:
We were approached several times by gentleman inquiring how I got so lucky. To whit I could not help but reply "Eyyyyyyyyy" God bless the Fonz. And come to think of it God Bless Kaytee and Maggie for putting up with me.

5. I may be the worlds worst photographer. But occasionally my mess ups turn into something kinda cool. Ill Refer you to exhibit B:

And Finally 6. Dancing at weddings can be more fun than you think. Especially when your in good company.

So in conclusion I came back mostly victorious I was able to go to Egg Haven, the local posh pancake house, and get my pecan roll with strawberry jam (To die for!) I was able to attend an absolutely beautiful wedding. And I also finally learned the recipe for Pan Galactic Gargleblasters. Huzzah! My only regret is that I forgot to purchase a memory card. Nothing worse than running out of memory 2 minutes into the wedding. Ah well Se La Vi.

Until next time kids!

So Ive got to fly out to Chicago for a wedding on Saturday. I leave Thursday afternoon so as to get an appropriate amount of hang out time with my midwest peeps. Ill be staying with the ever lovely Maggie. She will be taking me to a tiny Chinese food restaurant called "Eat/Drink" The prospect of eating at this establishment fills me not only with excitement but also a gut wrenching dread as to whether or not my stomach will survive such an encounter. I shall be bringing along a digital camera/camcorder type device so expect much picture taking and recorded hijnks. Ahh life in the big city here I come!

Well, Ragnarock 21 was quite the epic piece of camping. My 4 man team got to the semi finals, and I got drunk damn near every night. There was much mudsliding and lady smooching, I was officially dubbed a pimp by a certain makeout partner, and I got a new tent to boot! Life is good. Id also like to throw an offical congratualtory shout out to my boys JarradJL, his brother Jordan and, My boy Ray (Formerly Overlordspectre), on thier knightings at this event. I am now surrounded by Kahniggits!

The prospect of camping in this new tent fills me with untold ammounts of glee. Now If the weather would just nicen up a bit so I could clean it out and let it dry nice and proper.......

PS Mother fuckers are goin down YO momma style.
