It's a new year, and since last year kicked so much ass I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing. My main focus will be on reducing the amount of "stuff" in my life and simplifying where possible. I need to change my living situation which is tough when there are two names on the mortgage and you want out, but I'm confident I will be able to work this out.

A little more "me" time and especially more me and photography time. My output in 2009 was pretty weak so this can be improved upon.

I can't say how much friends are awesome and how much I look forward to making new ones this year.

The revolution continues.......

Stressed for the Holidays and not for the usual reasons. I stopped buying Christmas gifts for people about 3 years ago and was even able to get out of my family "random names" exchange this year. This is my way of sayinh "fuck you" to Wall Mart and the rest of the multinational corporations dependent on consumer whoredom.

6 more days of work and I'm off until 2010. I'm hoping I have the motivation to use some of this time to indulge in some much needed photography activity but this also depends on our beautiful weather. I also need a "photography buddy" and my homegirl that would otherwise fill this spot will be in San Diego this season.

I have been taking Spanish classes, which is awesome. I even bought a translation dictionary, only to lose it two weeks later. I do not lose things, especially large books, so this was strange.

Planning a Costa Rica trip for early next year, which means no extra money, especially since I lose a roommate at the end of this month. Anyone need a place to live in the north suburbs?

The above is also why I won't be doing my annual Santa Fe road trip for xmas this year. Too bad since my best friend is in town from Oregon.

Work is absolutely crazy, working 10-12 hour days and burning my self out, not good for the health either. Compensating with more homemade organic meals.

All said and done, life is good.

Day four of ten consecutive days off work, this is amazing and feels almost wrong. I feel like I should at least "check in" but have been diligent at keeping my work laptop shut.

Road trip to "the ranch" in Lindrith, NM tomorrow to spend Thanksgiving and the weekend with a large group of friends. The food will be amazing, and hopefully the $160 I spent on booze is enough for the lady and I. This will be sheer fun overload, from which I will no doubt be extremely hungover from by early next week.

Bruno was funny

Puscifer was good but not worth the $50 ticket, I'm disappointed Maynard...in case you're reading this

My best friend moved from Santa Fe, NM to Eugene, OR. He is no longer a weekend road trip away. This makes me sad

End the fed, limit your consumption, buy local, and boycott multinational corporations whenever possible.

Snow is awesome. Life is good. Party season is here. Concerts are great. I like short statements that capture my mood.

Where's my bailout?

Audit the Fed!

Anyone else notice there are now a million MM dispensary's in CO now? Business is booming.

Time for the overdue, incomplete blog update. Summer has been extremely busy so far.

Tons of camping and road trips which make me very happy

My garden is producing loads of fantastic food

We are enrolled in a local organic farm co-op (Community Supported Agriculture) which gives us several pounds of fresh, local, organic produce every week. My lady and I are cooking super healthy at least 4-5 nights a week now, and if not we are finding more and more great Denver restaurants that are veggie, vegan, local, and organic

Parties everywhere, I haven't been bored since I was about 5 years old, it just gets crazier

Concerts, lots done and many more coming

And most importantly, next week is my Birthday week

Here's some of my favs over the last couple of months

I just typed up a nice long blog and mashed some keys on my keyboard wiping everything I typed, son of a bitch, I hate duplicating.

Last weekend - Santa Fe. Just returned from my best friends two day birthday binge. He threw up 5 times on Saturday morning, and finally started eating solid foods sometime mid day Sunday. Why do we do it I ask? Well, I answer, the pre hangover (aka the party part) part is quite fun, especially when it's sorta a friend reunion back in your hometown.

New York this week for work. I've got a room in this pimp as conference center for a week of training. I'm on my lappy next to an open window with the view of the woods here in Armonk. Only the sound of the keypad drowns out bird chirps and squirrel mating calls. The Boulder office doesn't quite man up to this.

I've been strangely absent and extraordinarily busy lately. Planting a garden for the first time can be a little overwhelming and takes a little more effort than I may have planned for. It will be worth it should anything actually produce though I'm sure. I find myself posting to Facebook frequently due to ease of use. When do we get SG Mobile? Well that's about all I can muster at the moment. Time to go check out the company paid for buffet at this establishment.

P.S. I hate skipping time zones

All I can say, is it's a good thing you only get an appendectomy once. Talk about putting a damper on the week. Now it looks like I got shot. Mad props to my lady for putting up with and taking care of me through the ordeal.

The high point of the week is my best friend is in town from Santa Fe. It will be a week full of debauchery and playing with toys that go bang. I ended up buying this after all on Sunday.

If you have two hours (which I suggest you make) check out Alex Jone's newest project, The Obama Deception. While much of it is leftovers from his last film and should have been called "End Game 2, the out takes featuring BO" it does explore some much needed to know information. Just be careful with AJ, he spins everything so you must take an objective view, knowing that the foundation is true, it's the presentation that's excessive.

Cell phone pictures suck but check out this view. I have one taken with my D300 but the crop is uber weird and I need to find someone to print a strange size like 8ish x 32ish. Thanks to house sitting for a friend with a pimpin 7th story apartment.

That's all for now, I have more but the Vicodin + Soma + Mothership Wiit home remedy is kicking in and I am becoming useless.

I have just been asked to be the godfather of my best friends newborn. This is a first for me so I'm kinda excited.

Good looking kid, considering newborns are usually...well....not great looking to anyone except their parents?

Santa Fe road trip tomorrow, road trips rock.

Somehow my employer is still able to pay bonuses this year, score!

Between a bonus and my tax refund I should be able to make a huge dent in my debt

My worse judgment says I deserve a toy that goes bang instead of paying of some of my debt

Cooking organic homemade food is my new favorite activity

I need to take more pictures, been slackingzoom imagezoom image

My SG account is neglected, but I'm planning on committing more time to the relationship.

Abolish the Federal Reserve, recessions suck and it's their fault.

My employer is laying off 16,000 this month, hope I'm not one of them.

Gruet champagne is one of my new favorite drinks, two bottles on ice as I type.

Party at my house tonight, themed "Geriatric Jam" in honor of my roommates 33rd.

The end is near, but I finished my compost bin finally.

Overdue for an update it would seem.

Thanksgiving was awesome, I love food
Road trip to Durango this weekend, VERY EXCITE!
Road trip to Santa Fe for Christmas, I love road trips
Snow is finally here, can't wait to ski
Tried Ethiopian food for the first time last week. SG Colorado is great fun
Work is crazy busy, job security seems to be a good thing to have right now
The market continues to crash, I say let it. Abolish the federal reserve!!! I'm weary of so many different economist opinions. Keynes was an idiot, hyper-stagflation is impossible huh?

Making more time to cook good homemade food, I love food
I'm still in simplify my life mode. Slowly reducing the amount of crap I own and have all but eliminated incoming shit, save some photography and garden stuff.

Life is good, every day gets better. I'm not one to boast or whine about my relationships, but I must say I don't think I've shared anything this fun with anyone, ever. There is hope after all, if I can find and create happiness with someone, anyone can.
