I house sat for my brother...My Nephew started at Temple University. He already broke his Mac laptop(cracked screen) the day he moves in...
My other Nephew started at Rutgers New Brunswick....
My Car is in the shop and that will cost over 800bucks worth of repairs....
I did go to the SGNJ End of Summer BBQ Blowout...Cooked the Meat...Had Absinthe for the first time(mmm gooddd) and got nice and toasty.....
Semester has started...I missed my Fiction Writing Class. But I went to my Digital Effects in Motion Graphics Class..Boy were we shocked when we were told it is only Final Cut Studio 2 Effects(titling, color correction etc.) I wanted to learn about greenscreening. Rotoscoping(I'm dying to make a lightsaber). I think alot of people are going to drop the class. Tonight is a Hero9ines) of the 90s class....We'll see how that goes...I did get to hear Howard Stern on Sirius radio...its been sooo long....
Oh yeah....I'm broken...I realized that finally...There is something in my soul or whatever that is broken...I think that is why I havent written really anything. Felt the urge to wanna make any films or do anything creative...Hell to even attempt to date...I simply function......
Also saw Superbad...Still haven't seen the Simpson's Movie...

Its August 16th...Summer Season is almost over....
That means summer camp is wrapping up. I bring up summer camp for 2 reasons...1) I miss being a kid and not having responsibility and just going away for 2 weeks. Woods, hiking, cabins, mosquitoes...Lake..girls...ahhh summer..... but I digress...
As a child certain movies will forever link me to the good times...before the dark times... And no i'm not talking the trilogy....
Meatballs is a 1979 Canadian comedy film. It was the first film appearance of Bill Murray and, though not his first film, launched Ivan Reitman into a career of light comedies. It introduced child-actor Chris Makepeace in the role of Rudy Gerner. It was considered somewhat raunchy in its day. Now...seeing this at the Jersey Drive in back in the day was soooo much fun. I always somewhat wished my Camp was like Camp Northstar....

Now you are wondering...well what does this have to do with your camp experiences...
To Begin this tour, Think of awesome 80s music such as Duran Duran, Some police, Alot of Huey Lewis and the News and Mercedes Boy from Pebbles... Alot of other music too...
My Camp, Frost Valley was nothing like what you see on tv or the movies...The food was ok(i was such a finicky eater that I hated half the food anyway). The cabins were cool. We had our own Haunted type building. Air was soo crisp and fresh. There was a lake. Beautiful during the twilight of the day....Had many adventure there at night. We also had a few closing Campfires by the Lake as well. Boating(i wasn't a good swimmer and thus didnt go out much)
We would take a nice air-conditioned bus up to the Catskills (Claryville NY Actually). I always remember crossing over the Neversink Reservoir
Then going over a narrow bridge and Biscuit Creek, the HorseBarn before entering the main camp. I always had to have my walkman(always made a summer mixtape...if you've seen the recent robot chicken you can understand my giggle)or a portable radio. Alot of us were always shy or nervous when going up but coming home...we were soo rowdy, sitting with out friends and hanging out.
What else....I always signed up for arts and crafts. I would every year make a lanyard or as they are called I think boondoggles now. Wait on line in the dining hall. Say grace, I hated setting up or breaking down the table...
The overnights were sometimes fun(sleeping in a shelter with two people who are getting it on for the first time....well Its something you never forget) and not fun(the lice square of...i dont remember the year but because of it, our girl cabin couldnt come with us so it was just us boys...It rained alot too. I slept alot during that one. The views were amazing. High Falls, Low falls, Devil's Hole. A section of Beaver Dams. Hearing Ghost Stories told at the Forstmann Castle...

There were the sessional Camp Carnivals(4th of July, Hirdstock) Oh and alot of acoustic guitar playing(i think that is where I got my eclectic love of music from) I went for 10 summers straight...a lifer pretty much...I went back for CIT training...didnt last long because of my asthma 
and I went back as staff...and now....people are married with Children....Times Change...

Our last summer friday is this week....I did go to the Bodies Exhibition at the South Street Seaport. I was rather disappointed.. I wanted to see more Gore and freaky stuff...It was rather tame. Don't get me wrong...the idea that those were humans at one time.... I had two twisted moments.... in the brains and nervous system. I kept thinking...I really wanna watch Hannibal or Return of the Living Dead...BRAINS!!! BRAINS!!! and I really did wanna touch the stuff too... Another twisted moment was during the reproductive section. The had a male and female cut open and you could see all the bits....Guess what comes on my IPOD at the time: Marilyn Manson's User Friendly which i downloaded after seeing a burlesque show back in 04. That made me chuckle... Brains are very squishy and soft.
I went to Point Pleasant Saturday with SG Iggy, derceto, SG Katerina, Maladjusted. I havent been to the Joisey shore in years...It was alot of fun....Had my funnel cake and my Fries and learned a new term...Board Rat....Yeah I really love living in this state during the spring, summer, fall. Always nice seeing the traffic backed up and the parkway from my house. I did miss The Police at Madison Square Garden...I was SOOOO FRIGGIN HURT. I ALMOST WENT TO A SCALPER.

I went to a SGNJ member's party Saturday. It was fun. I met some interesting people. I met someone at Media Blasters(they put out anime dvd's such as Voltron) a Game Developer with his own company and the usual SGNJ Not Ready For Primetime Players.
1 Week before the 4th of July. 7 Days until TRANSFORMERS!!!!!! Will I see it...Of course...Will I like it? Hell NO!!!!!
I went to the Mermaid Parade last Saturday with minimalism and must say I had alot of fun. It was crowded(I really didn't expect that) And it was interesting. Always great seeing Nudity. Its funny, We were trying to cross and were at the end of the parade so I was right on the parade line. I made sure I didnt block the little girl in the stroller because A) thats rude. B) I felt bad. Anyway...I'm taking pictures and this one girl comes up to me and SAYS: OMG!!! YOU WORK AT THE NEW SCHOOL!!! YOU FIX OUR COMPUTERS!!! and she kisses me on each cheek...Wow...I hate blushing...
Dating sucks...it really does..What do you do when someone you like likes someone else? You know it but they dont want to admit it so when you finally discuss it..YOU aren't allowed to be angry. You're suppose to remain friends and keep your mouth shut because then it would appear you were only speaking to him to get their pants??? Huh...But noooooo...GRRR GETS ME SOOOOO DAMN MAD!!!! But...not allowed to gripe about it...Just bottle it up and keep it moving...and become more angry...

My summer fridays started. Now its long Hours and Fridays off...I hate long hours.
My American Horror Cinema 1968 to 1978 Film Class has started. My professor has gotten a writeup in Fangoria.com...sometimes I think I'm too into Horror and I feel that the people in the class don't take it seriously. The list of films we are watching are different thats for sure. Some I havent heard of and some I've heard of just never sat through. Like we are watching Deliverance...never saw it. Tomorrow is Rosemary's Baby. Our viewing list is like 2 pages long. Hehehe. One of the films we can write about is....Wizard of Gore(original version of course) I mentioned that to Jeremyscareme He thought that was funny.
I really have to get out of this rut i call existence. When I was up at Camp last weekend, i mentioned to someone what I did on a daily basis and they were like, thats the problem you exist. You Cant just EXIST. You need to do more and change it up. I sooo wanna do that...GRRRR I REALLY DO NOT LIKE OUR NEW COWORKER!!! He's already screwed up my computer to the point he wiped it without trying to back it up....Which is such a NO NO in Information Technology...And he interrupts and doesn't listen!!!! DAMMIT... *happy place* *happy place*
Wow... What a great vacation. Did my star wars Celebration(still compiling a thorough report on that) took some days off. Went to philly for the King Tut Exhibit(didnt like it much. But I did volunteer at my old summer camp and did some hiking. Damn...that 2 mile hike fucked me up bad. But I marched on...Thinking...if I was an Imperial Stormtrooper or a member of the 501st Legion I'd had to do this often with Armor on....
