*PREPARE FOR REFORMATTING*
"This is Ellen Ripley....signing off"
*systems offline*
I'll spoil it, i get kinda philosophical sense I have been thinking about the whole concept....
So yeah....That's my thoughts on friendship....I dont know who will read it but....i'm curious to hear people's thoughts...everyone even the one's who read the journal but dont want to comment. Perhaps, I am an evil person and dont really care about anyone...Perhaps...I have no redeeming quality and I am a vindinctive sob.
Sooo We're in march. Spring is around the corner, Easter will be here soon. I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show Last night with quite a few people up in Bergenfield NJ. Let's see Mydogfarted was there, Sharonaaa was there, Khoos was there, Seantastic was there.... Its a fun show I must say, I really got a kick out of
janet(sooooo hot, soooo curvy) I also started taking some Photoshop Tutorial classes. I love that program. Being able to manipulate imagery...awesome.
I re-read V by AC Crispin. V was a miniseries back in 1983 about Aliens coming to Earth as friends but quickly turning the planet to a Fascist state. Lizards under human skin....Ewww....
John, Do we Have a clip?
V: The Final Battle
V: The Series
...I loved V so much as a child, I mean really loved it. I watched it with my grandmom and then the final battle and then the series friday nights....I was 9 and 10 when it came on....
As with most things, people wanted to know what happened? Since the original Creator Kenneth Johnson left during the Final Battle Miniseries he had different ideas of what went down(no starchild or pretenama) So he wrote a another Book: V: The Second Generation it takes place 20yrs later(our current time). No Terrorism....No 9/11....No more water pretty much. Total Human Subjugation until the Resistance make's a last ditch effort to save humanity....Not bad, slow in parts and the ending, well it seemed partly far fetched and rushed...But I liked it. I would love to see them make this into a miniseries....
Sunday, went to a SGNJ event which was alot of fun and met some new people as well. I'm glad I went.
as far as the situation....well...
Grr....Women, are crueler then men....Right now, I have no faith in them and probably wont for a long time...
So...what have you been up to?
Its amazing how a week can change your life....one minute your happy as a clam or relatively happy...Next your crying at work wiping your eyes so that your coworkers dont see you. But they dont understand the sadness in your heart. The bitterness that grows every night while you think bout what could've been. That you clinch the steering a tad tighter when you think bout what went wrong. That Nice guys NEVER FUCKING FINISH FIRST(don't believe the hype) and part of you wants to just rip into them and tell them really how you feel but no, you bite your tongue because you thought you were being a better friend.
Oh No....They dont know about the headaches you get because of the misery you have or continually wonder why are you the way you are. Is this some sort of re-incarnation punishment? Am I destined for misery? Was I such a horrible person in another life that I'm being punished this time around????
Few times in my life have I felt this way...so miserable and utterly helpless...ready to do almost anything to make the pain go away to stop the suffering you feel....to feel a sense of happiness....Last time I felt it....it took me 5 months to get over it....This time...i dont know....
Oh I've cleaned my friend's list(if you havent noticed yet...too bad) if your not on it...there's a probably a reason....
Valentine's Day has come and gone...people got stuff that dont deserve it and I my professor stood us up so i could've gone home much earlier then expected.... Bah....in a really Angry Mood right now. The type of mood where you're always scowling at people.
Last weekend I did have fun hosting my first SGNJ Event, a lovely Brunch in New Brunswick. Nice turnout and after a few of us when down to Red Bank and Visited Kevin Smith's Store.
To Answer my Questions:
Let's play a round of How Well You Know me...
(Based on my journals and where I lurk in the groups) Answer these questions:
1) 2 Movies are On. Which Would I choose:
Empire Strikes Back or Star Trek: Insurrection
Or
Empire Strikes Back or A New Hope
Or
Empire Strikes Back or The Original Transformers Movie
EMPIRE ALWAYS TRUMPS ANY MOVIE, including the Original Transformers Movie.
2) Winter Spring or Summer?
Spring and Summer
3) Horror Elitist or Just Like quality movies
I'm leaning toward Elitism....I realize that I love cheesy movies from the 80s but to me, 90s and 00 Horror isnt the same....
4) Vader or Megatron
Lord Darth Vader Always
5) What do I name all my laptops?
Artoo-Detoo. I named one Megatron Once and it died on Me...Artoo has always come through
6) Do I like New Chat or Old Chat
Old Chat
7) SGNJ or SGNY
SGNJ
8) Cold Heartless Bastard or Caring Individual
Eh, i dont care anymore....
9) Batman or Spiderman
The Bat over the Spider anyday.
10) And what is my not-so-secret dream
I want to be published but ultimately....I wanna be Happy
I was listening to Howard Stern from the Wednesday show and Lennon called in. Apparently Yoko is suing her over the name. Lennon mentioned Suicidegirls and when Howard didn't know about it she was actually surprised. I've wait 4 yrs for SG to come up on Stern....
People have come and gone....Giants Have won the Superbowl!!!! Been to 2 Star Wars Celebrations and I run two groups that I'm proud of. Have had many a crush on a SG member, most or none have come to pass. Griped with my fellow Members since 2004 Group about some other groups here. I also noticed...my journals were alot more happier and more just out there...now....closed and guarded as usual...perhaps not...
So here I celebrate 4yrs on SG, I want to send a Memorial to some people that are gone and Missed:
1Aura1
Porcelainheart
faeriedust
Gorewhore or to some Gory
Zombette or Zombi
Krrn
Freyja
Countless others I do not remember
Alot Happened in a week's time eh?
Giants winning the playoffs going to the superbowl...
Suzanne Pleshette dying...
Friggin Heath Ledger dying????? come on man....Now true i've not seen alot of his work( I do love the ending to a knight's tale) but I know who he was. Plus...His Joker looks amazing. Fucking awesome. I am glad though that production and post was finished on his film though...My sympathies to his family.
Of course once I heard about it, I was like wow...those joker posters are going to go through the roof on ebay. Damn Shame when people like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton still function but we lose good people...eh Brad Renfro dont care about...
I saw Cloverfield...Now a quick note to this, i saw the original trailer during the transformers, at first I thought it was part of the Transformers especially with the throwing of the statue of liberty head.... Cool More Bot action...Come on, I could totally see the Decepticons doing something like that.
OMG...WHAT AN OVERHYPED PIECE OF BANTHA POODOO...The camera didnt even phase me(i watched blair witch or as we called it in the indie film world, Jiggly sticks in the dark). No what pissed me off exactly was what I knew going in...i hate when films like that are told from the characters perspective. you only get to glimpse things when the character sees it...So much can be shown the other way...I dont even care about found footage, it could've been intercut with military, news etc...another thing...that was a damn good battery on that camera....i dont care what anyone says....8hrs plus use of night vision and lights not to mention being dropped and stuff...no.... Plus average tape is on 63 minutes....that damn movie should've been over sooner then that...yes i really truly hated Cloverfield. Dont get me wrong, i loved carnage. Clapped when i saw people dying. I loved seeing the buildings come down. Nothing like seeing yuppies being destroyed...Ahhh...Only one creature knows how to terrorize a city correctly well besides Giant Robots...
My friend Riz thinks I am a Horror Elitist...Not true...I love all kinds of horror but i just hate BS(which is 90%).Like I watched Death Race 2000 for the first time...Oh my god...that was awesome...Sly Stallone David Carradine and you get points for running over people....It was FUCKING AMAZING...I LOVED IT!!!! It was good cheese....
Oh....Remember kids, make sure you fill out the right forms when filing your taxes or else...THE IRS will get you...I learned that the hard way....
I had a blast at the SGNJ Formal Diner of the Month...I learned that NJ will be spared from Zombie Attack as long as we give them disco fries. That sometimes there is too much chrome in a restaurant and never go to a poolhall that smells like vomit and tinkle when your sinuses are still sensitive.
Other then that...a quiet weekend. Cleared off more space on my dvr(bionic woman, New Episodes of LA Ink) Next weekend with the three day weekend coming up, I'm going to finish off Heroes.
Clerks II premiered on cable this past saturday...Not as good as the first one but I do like it. I like

Randal alot. If you havent seen it...check it out... Mr. Smith is one of my heroes....
Good Luck's a Comin????
Also....As far as Politics...only one person I'd vote for:
Top 5 Moments of 2007
1) STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV - Being there for the 30th Anniversary of my fave series. Being on TV(even though I have yet to see it) and meeting Irvin Kershner, Carrie fisher was amazing. I'm glad I almost got kicked out of my hotel room the first night.
2) POLICE LIVE - Fave band...Even though I couldnt go there on Halloween, I"m glad I got to see them. I hope they come back around again. I LOVE THEM.
3) HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - It was the year of HP. Order of the Phoenix in Theaters and the Final Novel and Book Release Party. I was disappointed with the Final Novel after all the Hubbub but it was a great ride. I still chuckle at the fact that people were surprised at Dumbledore's Orientation(re-read book 7 and tell me it wasnt there in black and white)
4) NEW YORK CITY MERMAID PARADE - First time and perhaps last time. It was interesting to say the least and having someone recognize you from work is always a riot.
5) TRANSFORMERS - The movie blew but as a lifelong fan, it was good seeing it on the big screen. And seeing stores sold out of transformers gear at christmas made it feel like 1984 all over again.
