You ever feel that you spend to much time on the net and not enough time in the real world?

I did. Needed to take some time away from SG and a few other sites to kind of get back to reality a little. I had realized that I spent way to much freaking time on the net and little if any with real people. In the last month, I have moved to St. Louis, MO, started working out, growing a beard , and spent alot of time trying to find something new to do with my life.

I have been in the medical field for a few years now and I'm really getting of the bullshit. Not helping people, I like that part, but trying to kiss ass while I do my job so the hospital can get good numbers.

Its all about the $, sad . Oh well, thats life in the corperate world.

Also got high speed internet in the new place. I have had dial up since I was in high school, because all I ever did was check my email. Now, I can check it 1000 times faster!!

I used to wrestle with this dude and the girl is from my town.

It got me thinking about the human race in general. Can we as humans evolve to the next level?
Sadly, I do not think we can. We are so advanced, yet so simple. We are so evolved yet still so primitive. I do not understand why hate is so much easier for us to grasp, then love. I just don't get it.

Wow, I have no idea where that came from . Anyway, tonight will be my 5th day of 7 in the ER. Really tired, gonna try and get some sleep.

This has been a wonderful few days off and life is gonna be changing around my neck of the woods. I'm really happy and looking forward to the changes that are coming.

I'm gonna be working my ass off in July. I have 4 days off for the whole month!

Overtime = Heaven

The thought that maybe this time next year, or even a few months from now I could be somewhere different, doing something different, well, it makes me smile. And I can't remember that last time I smiled this much. Even if I decide to not go, which I pray I don't, the future looks bright. Having lived a life in the darkness of depression and pain, I finally see and feel some light, and DAM does it feel good. If only I was getting some good sex this would be perfect.............well, any sex would be good.

I hope that everyones weekend goes well.

Thanks everyone on the nice comments from my last post. I usually try not to bare parts of myself on the net, but I had one of those days and needed to get it off my chest.

After a long night, I did conclude that my days in this field are over. I plan to put in my notice at work within the next few months after I save up a little money. I picked up a shit load of days in July, working 6 days a week for the month, so money should not be a factor.

Looking forward to something new, and a possible move overseas. Really looking forward to that.

I SAID NO, YOU SICK DUTCH BASTARD!!!!

Lots of stuff to cover, better get this shit rolling.

I'm under a lot of pressure to go to school to be an RN or a PA. The docs at work really hound me about it, which would be nice except that I have some major, major reading and writing issues that make life hell. I had to go to school for 6 months to get my EMT license, and that was pure hell. You feel like such a child, you get upset easy, and just can't finish your work. I told my docs that I would NEVER be an RN or a PA until I got these problems fixed. The last thing in the world that co-workers want is someone asking them how to spell things basic words.

One of the most frustrating things about this problem is the huge knowledge I have, yet its seems like its impossible for me to write/read about it or convey it. Working in the ER is awesome on the learning end. No books. Just a doctor telling you what this is and what that is, I think it by far is the easiest way to learn. No spelling, which rocks. Years ago, had someone asked me about the human body, my knowledge of its workings would have been that of a chipmunk with a nut, I would have been like, be quite, I want to eat this nut. Uhmm, well it would have been very limited.

Doctors talk to me about the inner workings of the human mind compared to thought and reactions, the functions of the organs what makes them excel and what makes them die, and medicines used to treat liver enzymes.

Yet if they give me a medical journal to read, I break down because I can't finish it. I can hold a conversation with heart doctors, neuro surgeons......yet when I comes to the basic things of reading and writing the material, I fail. The writing is what kills me. If you guys knew how long it took me to type this, and the fact that I had to write this in works so I could spell check it....well, its disappointing.

It feels like my mind is sinking yet floating at the same time. It a weird ass feeling. This is taking freaking forever to write.....oh well.

As the days the go by, I realize that my days in the medical field are coming to an end. This half and half bullshit needs to go. I'm gonna be working my ass off at work for the next few months. Gonna try and save up some money and see if still want to go to China for a while. It would be a nice change of pace, I much needed break from reality.

On a happier note, I'm off for 4 days. Not really sure what I'll do with my time, but I know fun and good times will hopefully follow. Gonna spend a few days figuring out my plans. God I love spell check.
