Okay, guys, so here's the deal. I'm sort of posting this just because it's awesome, and a great thing.

Everyone knows about Saint Jude Children's Hospital, which is an amazing place, and they do very awesome things. I donate every year at the holiday times to them to help with their cause.

Though, I am personally amazed by Duke Children's Hospital at Duke University, located in Durham, North Carolina. Every year at Valentine's Day I go up and work the radio-thon taking phone calls for people pledging donations, and every year it's an amazing event.

Duke Children's Hospital is a completely privately funded hospital. Though, he's the catch, when you make a donation to the hospital, the money you donate, 110% of it goes to the children. Every single donation goes to the children! Which is awesome, there's no administartion fees, no money goes to any of the Doctor's or Nurses. It all belongs to the kids. The money raised and donated goes to do things like bring in magicians or clowns for the kids to be entertained with. Money also goes to help children be able to go to Kamp Kladescope, which is a summer camp for kids with medical conditions that wouldn't allow them to go to normal summer camp. Though, the coolest part of K.K. is that, they have a medical staff on hand to help the kids. Another cool thing they do, is like when you go, you get to meet kids with the same medical condition you have. This is a truly amazing place.

Duke Children's Hospital reaches out to patients all across the world, and all across the country. They truly reach out and help save lives and help with advancement in medicine to save lives. They also do really kick ass stuff, like one of the biggest allergies affecting kids is Peanut Allergies. The staff at Duke Children's Hospital is on the break of curing peanut allergies. They've actually got a study going where they have kids who peanut allergies, where they are actually able to eat stuff with peanuts, like Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhiches, just AWESOME!

So, here's where this is all leading to. Today, November 1, 2009 is my 30th birthday, and I have a birthday wish!

My birthday wish:

I wish that I can achieve a minimium of 10 people to donate $30 dollars to Duke Children's Hospital. 10 x $30 = $300 that will be used for the children for something special for them. Think about it, let's say you buy a soda from the gas station, or you go out to eat with your family, or you go and rent movies. Perhapes instead of doing those things, you donate the money that you would do those things with.

This is a very special place, with very special people in it. I've been lucky to be able to tour the entire hospital, and even get to go up onto the notorious Fifth floor which is where the patient rooms are. It's a wonderful place, that does wonderful things.

I wish that everyone would find it in their hearts to reach out and help make a difference.

Ummmm well damn, it's been a year since I've blogged on SG. How pathetic am I.

Holy fuck! It's been a year since I posted on SG. Wow.....ummmm just wow. I feel like such a slacker. I'm such a horrible updater, ah! I'm going to Vegas, so I'll umm I'll give a better update when I get back.

It's been awhile since I've posted a blog on SuicideGirls. Alot has gone on in the past like what nine months since I've posted.

One of my closest friends, who is like a brother to me, who I've been friend with for almost 12 years moved back to Fayetteville, and we've been chillin' again. There are some nights when we're hanging out that it feels like sometimes I'm back in college. The late night hang outs, the loads of alcohol that is consumed.

It's nice every now and then to just relax and turn things off, and just be here. Tonight, right now is a prime example of that is right now. One of my other close and kick ass friends, who happens to also be my roommate is NiCr0. Right now, he's sitting in his room with his guitar just playing mellow awesome songs. Right now it's Stairway to Heaven.

There's no TV's, no lights, no game consoles, no nothing on (erm, well except my laptop). We've got candles burning and it's just, it's relaxing, and very mellowing. This moment has made me realize, that every now and then, not matter what's going on, you just need to step back, relax, and get away from things and let yourself be at peace.

Things on the homefront are awesome....family is doing good, and I swear my Grandmother is hell bent on dumping my grandfather into a river instead of burying him when he dies because he's nagging and being a hard ass, lol, it's great.

Ohhh, and it's interesting, because I have meet someone (though I think she's pissed off after Sunday night thanks to the antics of above mentioned friend of 12 years). What's so interesting about it, well....she's a bartender, and at first I thought she was doing her job. Then on Sunday night (before my friends drunken antics), she came around the bar when we walked in, and particallly jumped into my arms and clung onto me. When asked if someone missed me, she replied yeah, you need to call me more often. That earned a response of, you need to answer your phone when I do. It's awesome, she's a kick ass chick.

Well, even though I know that I don't get browsed still felt good to put up a blog. I think I'm going to shower, and lay on the couch, and fall asleep to the tunes that NiCr0 decides to keep playing.

So, in the past six months, I've moved three times. Now I'm settled into a place that I feel is mine. I have a roommate, but he's hardly here, which is kinda okay, because it allows me to feel like the place is my own.

Blah, my closest friend is being a fucking child, and he's annoying the piss out of me. I wish he would grow the fuck up, and stop being such a douchebag.

So, I want to talk about a few things. I want everyone who reads this to know, that I am far from a racist person, and I am not a biggot or anything. With that said, I want to talk about something....and that something in the Muslims. Now, blah, blah, I hope not to start a shit storm on me, or get myself zotted.

So, sure, I agree, America should not have jumped so quickly on this war in Iraq, and it's true, more soldiers have died in the occupation of Iraq, as opposed to the intial war into the country itself. That's right, I used the words, occupation of Iraq. I want everyone to understand something....I understand the war, and I understand why we are still in Iraq, I understand that if we were to leave Iraq rigth now, that it would get really, really ugly (wait, it's already really, really ugly there as is). Yes, conditions are worst now then they have been (well not completely). I know that alot of things are in the news spotlight because of everything going on.

Anyways, to the point.......I was born and raised Catholic, and if someone wanted to draw a cartoon about the pope and publish is in th weekend, I'd be like, 'eh okay, whatever, and I'd take my 50 cents and go buy a USA today and then pop in a video game and ignore it (that's the greatest thing about having the freedom to choose what I do, I can IGNORE something if I want to). So, about a year ago, a cartoon was drawn in Europe depicting Muhammad, and all these Muslim's got in an uproar about it. They started protesting and burning stuff. I mean, come on what the fuck....you say that the Islamic religion is the most peaceful, yet if someone pisses you off, you protest and burn shit.

Then Pope Benedict, yeah, he referenced some quote saying that "Some of Mummad's teachings were cruel and evil." So, this outraged the Muslims.....so then ephagies of the pope were burned and descreated. There, if I'm not mistaken two different nuns that were killed by Muslim's because of what the pope said.

Whoa! Whoa! WAIT! Hold on!

Everytime I turn around, I hear from people, that the Muslim religion is one of the most "peaceful" religions in the world. Wait, how come any time someone pisses off the followers of Muhammad, do you always hear in the news about their violent reactions, and their call to arms over it. It's retarded.......you want people to think you arne't the bad guy, yet you haven't given reason for anyone to believe you. How about we consider this....instead of protesting by burning the American flag, or KILL THE INFIDELS! KILL THE INFIDELS! Why don't you try buying a highway sign that says "God Muhammad?" Instead of resorting to violent outburts, why don't you try maybe peacefully protesting.

They call us the infidels......yet I believe they hate America because it was created by Christian Men with Christian values.......In God We Trust they said......it's stamped all over our money........we are free to do as we want, choose to do what we want. It's these freedoms, it's the fact that we have the freedom of speech, it's the fact that we have the freedom to peacefully assemble. It's the fact that we have the freedom to choose how we worship, and what God we want to worship. It's the fact that we have the right to bare arms, and stand up for what we believe. It's the fact that women can vote. It's these freedoms that every America, it's the fact that we have the ability to be whatever we want, and do whatever we want that they hate America.

They call us the infidels, yet we are the ones that have a wonderful nation of freedoms. They call us the infidels, yet, they are the ones who treat their women as second rate creatures. This coming from the people who believe that's under their religious laws it's okay to beat a woman for disobeying a man. They call us the infidels yet they are the ones that have mud and dirt buildings.

For a religion that claims to be peaceful and not preach hatred.....it sure seems that most of the countries where this religion is prominent there is a hatred for the Western World, and for America. They seem to have a hatred for anyone who speaks ill against their religion.

Did you know, that the Muslim's have a 100 year plan to turn America into an Islamic run country???
