I shot a new set today (and it was the first time I picked up the camera in over 2 weeks), which is good because I finally got to try somethings out... specifically some lighting toys and a fancy schmancy lens that I have on loan.

If you haven't noticed as of the last 2 weeks, i'm on a bit of a roll with this months with accepted sets, and that makes me freaking happy. So thank you all for the support and thank you to the girls. Ladies I love you.
I'm trying to find a happy balance with creativity and sets and i'm still working that out and trying different things instead of staying in my basic "safe zone" for sg sets. To be perfectly honest that style was fine for me for awhile and somewhat successful... so hopefully i'm not too afraid to try out different lighting, different angles, and stuff that usually avoided for sg sets. Only way to go is up!
So sets in MR that came out this week:

This set didn't come out how I pictured it at all. I had really hoped for direct sunlight to glow the entire room, of course SF shootfest was in still in winter... and all week before shootfest it was bright and shiny and warm, even for it being in January. OF COURSE the day of shootfest not a single bit of sunlight anywhere. Also I think the poor girl was a bit out of her comfort zone unfortunately. I sometimes wonder if it's better to pack ideas away and go for something alternative if the elements you hope for don't line up properly. It is a gamble. I was hoping for a much better set for her though because she deserves better. Anyway despite all that I hope it's at least enjoyable for you all, if not front page material.

Bathtime Bliss
This was the girls first shoot and she was totally a natural! I had never shot a bathtub set before but I think this one turned out pretty darn good, especially for a girl who didn't have much experience! so yeah check it out!

I shot a new set over the weekend with the gorgeous Trinidad.
I'm pretty sure this will do well in member review.
Silvi and I went to SF to shoot the set, then we skipped over to Oakland to meet up wth Rambo, and some of her friends. Headed out to a bar for a bit to meet with Carrina and Moralee.... and to think I was just gonna go straight home after the shoot. Good times. The girls really want me to get drunk (I don't drink) so far its having mixed results haha...
also Rockezi's new set went up a few days ago so hope you all check it out. She's such an awesome girl! Hit The Bricks

Have I said I loved this site yet? because I really do. I at some point want to write something about how SG has changed my life for the better like where Missy is asking here, and I don't think I've seen a photographer post anything yet sooooo could be cool. I just need to be in the right headspace to write.
anyway..... Lets talk about ms. Saint's set All Apologies.
for those of you have been following my SG career know that Saint was the first suicidegirl I ever shot. She took an extended break from the site due to personal issues but we always kept semi in contact and would occasionally see each other. However the thing I found out about us, is that we communicated BADLY and that has led to a few misunderstandings where someone was hurt and the other didn't mean it. This set symbolizes an end (hopefully) to those misunderstandings and welcoming her back to the site, hence the name "All Apologies" so it's not just about Nirvana song lyrics, there's actually a little bit more meaning behind it. SO I hope you all enjoy it.
In other news I shot hopeful Mere over the weekend. Her and Trillance were really great people.

In other news, thanks to the random person who got this Darth Vader mask i'm currently sporting on my profile picture, for me. I'm assuming it's someone from SG because I had my wishlist up at some point but I don't really know who sent it. I got it on Valentine's day this year too so I guess potentially I could have a secret admirer or something. Well thanks!
speaking of which in liu of actual Valentines Day I spoiled a certain Suicidegirl. I mean what girl doesn't like preserved body parts, final fantasy movies, sushi, mimosas and making your own star wars shirts?
at the tech museum - we're totally mature.
I've finally cleared out all my Suicidegirl sets and should be submitting the last 2 i've been sitting on. This is kind of a good feeling because I feel like I can clear out all the old ideas in my mind and try to wrap my head around this new direction and feeling I want to produce in my Suicidegirl sets. I've got some pretty exciting things lined up so hopefully you people will notice the "change" in how the sets feel and hopefully it'll be popular on site. I never know these days with SG. But yeah all caught up means.... time to start booking some more sets!

The "Day with" project has been moving along smoothly. This project has REALLY reinvigorated and inspired me in my photography, and I'm glad to be able to bring that aspect of the girls i'm shooting with it to everyone. I still don't quite know what I want to do with it yet, make little mini limited edition books for each one that has a full set of pictures or later on just condense it into one book after say 12 different girls or something. We'll see I get some prints back from some of the stuff today! and maybe shooting 2 more this upcoming week.

Life has been pretty good lately... seems like all i do is smoke weed, take and edit photos of naked girls, and hang out with them AND get paid to do it!
yesterday:
Member review is gonna heat up tomorrow. Think of it as my Valentines Day gift to the members at SG haha... I give you guys a BRAND NEW Sash set at around 9am...
Shooting a set with Sash was like one of my photographic goals in my career. Years ago when I first started out in photography I saw photos that Cymagen had done with her and thought both the photos and her were stunning. It was because of her that I took a newer interest in Suicidegirls, so who knows, without her I may have never shot anything for the site.
I tried something a little different for her set though, and kind of shot it as a tribute to the photographer Terry Richardson. I think I did a fairly good combination of giving a nice little nod to his style of photography while still keeping my personal stamp on it and it was a trip to shoot a complete set by just using the onboard flash on my camera. So I hope that even though it's a little different than the norm of sets on site people will still appreciate it! Then again it is Sash. Anyway hope you all enjoy that. I kinda spaced and forgot to get a shot of her doing the terry "thumbs up" pose though. So sad..
at 9pm that night, I give you guys a new Carrina set Porch Kitten.
I know I might be headed towards a reputation of some crazy cat guy photographer as cats keep showing up in my sets.... but seriously this one wasn't intentional, the cat wouldn't leave the area we were in so I just ended up combining it in our set and it actually worked out pretty well.
also Pandie has a set that just came out today so check that out as well!
