I hate the world sometimes .. seriously this fucking douchebag pisses me off.. I'm sorry he couldn't make friends and get a girlfriend or anything but that's seriously no excuse to do what he did. I haven't had the best luck with women but you don't see me stabbing every single one i come across (heh that would probably not make me the best photographer to work with

It's theme week on SG! First two days have been Rigel, and Lavonne, who are both on my 'faves' list so you won't see me bitching. I'm interested in seeing what else they think is 'reinventing the photoset'. I wish they gave like a staff critique on them, to me that aspect is interesting... although I don't know how many member care and just want to see bewbs.
Good news is coming soon you'll have to wait to see what it is!
Doxie is coming to california, and we have a shoot scheduled! The idea is pretty neat, and could be cool if pulled of well... at least that's what I'm hoping!
I need to figure an extremely kickass idea for Zippo.... there's traces of what could be good ideas but nothing extremely solid yet. More importantly getting her from TX to CA.
So i'm going to do like a 'Wednesday Darryl's set of the week' in where I talk about a certain favorite set of mine, give it my persona critique and why i 'loved it' so I may as well get started now...

wooo what a whirlwind weekend... Comiccon was a blast and unfortunately i was there for a waay to short of time, but y'know obligations with other party members calls... I swear I only saw about 60% of the floor and didn't make it to any panels =( =( =(
I did however take a lot of pictures over the course of the few days I was in So-cal.
Sash and Zoli were the first SGs that we 'met' and Sash seemed kind of hurt when we immediately asked where the other SG booth was... where.....
Jaylin, Bob, and Saint the Yay area girls were at.
Those star trek getups they had stopped just seconds from the butt.. hehe.. so cute.
anyway other highlights can be seen right HURR
The trip also included a stay with Mar and I once again experimented with only tungsten lamps... and shot it somewhat unsuccessfully... the crappy strobe kit i brought always blows fuses, even with regular useage. The first lamp blew and the 2nd one blew shortly after.... which is why I really have grown to love my Alien Bee lamp... its just so damn good... and i hate having to keep replacing the damn fuses!

I <3 Manders... seriously this girl is one of my favorite models to work with... I just hate that we never ever seem to be able to sync up properly. I think there should be a cool place inbetween here and SF/Oakland area where everyone lived as a compromise. Note I did say cool place so... unless fremont has suddenly become cool...
ANYWAY.. this was an idea I thought of while doing my Fairy Tale project... I'm kind of over that project at the moment, but had this idea about Rapunzel... so this is kind of what I came up with... based on the concept of people who eat their own hair, Rapunzel Syndrome. This was just kind of a last minute idea without much planning. I'm not sure if I like it.
anyway.. once we figured out that concept wasn't working with the amount of hair extensions we had and setting we opted to shoot on her roof... and I LOVE how these pictures came out... theres no doubt I'm glad i blew 900 bucks on lighting equipment earlier this year

Friday was my first gallery showing in downtown San Jose! It was rather exciting and a lot of people who I know showed up including Saint. It was great because I ended up selling 2 pieces out of 8, (if only i knew that the gallery took a 40% cut.. ouch.. i would have priced it a little higher) and I honestly didn't think I would sell any at all. My friend who helped put on the show asked me to replenish my business cards because a bunch of people picked em up which could potentially mean more business.
