Saint's set My Zen went Live live live today....
which means you get to see our set sooner.... but i'm afraid we'll still have to be waiting for a few weeks =( =( =(
i know patience is a virtue but its fucking killing me here
and believe me i'm desperately holding back more teaser images from our set to post here... its so hard... argh
But believe me when i say it, it's completely on the opposite side of the spectrum from My Zen... so it'll be a good contrast.
on that note i need to book a date for another SG set to shoot and catchup...
Also I think i'm a make some banners cuz I should practice my pshop skills so if any of you girls want one let me know...

Sometimes i like to pretend i'm a photographer like I did today!
My friend Mar came into town for the long weekend, she's been one of my first subjects when I started shooting so we periodically shoot here and there... This was today's results, and first chance I really got to use my battery pack light setup. Still a few bugs to work out but overall I'm pretty darn pleased with the results especially the first two. I'm anxious to shoot at the beach or something with this light setup!
oh and to those photogs who say ONLY SHOOT before Sunrise/Sunset i say fuck that and shoot at 3pm as these first 2 photos represent it can be done, and well..

I finished my final edits of the pictures today, minus thumbnails and album covers but yeah the majority of the set is done and processed.... and yeah what can I say i'm a determined worker!
Saint says shes extremely happy with them and that was one of my top priorities....

After studying sets for the last month almost to a point where staring at pics naked women has gotten banal, its time to put up or shut up! Sg Shoot tomorrow. Wish me luck!
What influences me as far as post processing goes, will it work for my SG shots? stay tuned
Star Trek was awesome!
Being a somewhat closeted Trekkie, I was kind of always on the fence about some of the stuff. I never really got into the original series but knew a lot about characters and references. I really liked TNG, but didn't pay much attention to DS9 or Voyager. But I did see all of the movies and about 50% of them are.... pretty bad....
I went to a Star Trek panel at Wondercon, and was still on the fence about the new movie because the original trailer made it seem like it would be just another stupid action movie that could possibly ruin the franchise all together. I'm glad to see that I was wrong and that JJ Abrams and crew not only saved a dying franchise (that studios were actually TRYING to get rid of and/or send it out to the pasture for good and with the series Enterprise who could blame them?) made it 'cool to like', and completely reboot the storyline.
To say the least, I was surprised and pleased with it.
Anyway I've been really amused by this stupid internet youtube site lately. Its so retarded and genius at the same time haha
