....Wait. I'm not supposed to be proud of this? Damn.
I still appreciate the applause.
In honor of the 5-month gap, I'd like to take you back 5 months in the opposite direction of my last blog, to July 2012, when I was freshly inked but somehow neglected to share the beautiful work done by Ms. Cheryl Tarulli of Crimson Culture Tattoo:

5 hour session and Rondel fed me Hostess cupcakes because A) She's a Goddess and B) My favorite food was still in existence at the time.
As promised, here's a SWEET vid of the tattoo process : )
In the meantime, stay awesome - and harass me to post sooner than 5 months from now. Seriously.
I took Rondel to the haunted Fall River home as part of her Birthday gift, and we got to enjoy a little nightlife (aka a bar and then another little bistro-bar called Trio, the latter of which was fucking amazing....ask for the bread & a martini), along with a private tour of the homestead - including paranormal investigation.
But first! We visited the family grave site nearby...
And Where Lizzie moved to down the street after she was acquitted (though many still suspect she did it)
Some shots of our daytime meandering through the Borden house...
..This last one is Rondel re-enacting Abby Borden's death. She's kneeling on the exact spot Abby fell dead after being bludgeoned to death with a hand axe. Creepy. But awesome. You can actually see it in the photo on the wall.
During the private night tour they took us through the whole house and showed the evidence of past paranormal happenings, though we didn't find any on our particular trip : /...the house is supposedly very active and was especially so around Halloween, the week before we arrived. They also did an EVP session, but you'll have to ask Rondel about that b/c I didn't partake. Fun fact though: when you look at this basement tub in the Borden house from afar, it's spot on the portrait of Lizzie's father Andrew...
In the end, we had a blast on our brief road trip, and woke up safely the next day, cold but cuddling in sweatshirts. Good Times.
If you haven't already taken a look, you're missing out. Anyone who enjoys this site by actually appreciating the beauty of the female form and the body art that comes with it will enjoy this set. It's rare that I guarantee something, but this....I guarantee.
Go take a look at Beware The Bear
Or give up at it. I guess we'll try the first one and move to the latter if the former fails.
In any case, new tattoos are coming soon to both forearms. Hopefully seeing seeing my artist this weekend while I'm with the incomparable FrostyB : )
All of my students have moved home since the semester ended, which may mean more time to drop in and visit the chat peeps, so hopefully I'll see you there. It also means golf season and my transformation back into a dojo-dweller (I <3 MMA all day, e'erday).
Conclude lame blog.
That meant training at home by myself, and when I was done beating up my inanimate friend Brock (grappling dummy), I had the sudden inspiration to do another mini-set.
This is the result: Ready for Combat
A Couple Previews:

Tried a few new things...let me know if they work.
Thank You, Peyton.

Wherever you go, I hope you win it all.
