Wow, I'm worse than I thought with girls.
So, my roommate decided to try to hook me up with his girlfriend's friend. I have no problem with that.
We throw a party Saturday night.
I'm introduced to mystery girl. I talk and try to initiate a conversation a couple of times throughout the night... but to no avail. She leaves with not so much as a "hey, I'll talk to you later" or "nice to meet you" or anything relating to a future conversation.
The next day my roommate's girlfriend says "hey, Adriana wants your number". I'm kind of puzzled, the night before she didn't have much to say. Now, I'm not sure if she was just being shy or if my friend is just trying to trick me into believing that this girl is really interested in me. My roommate proceeds to give me the number of this girl, but I can't bring myself to call her without knowing for sure.
Either they're telling the truth or I make an embarrassment of myself.
I guess making an ass of myself couldn't hurt that bad.

I have reason to believe that I've contracted strep throat.
Damn it.
And my everlasting headache is still everlasting.
*sigh*

So, I've come to the conclusion that chiropractors are WAY cooler than doctors.
Case in point: I've had a headache for the last month, I tried to get an appointment with my neurologist (seeing as I have epilepsy this could be a concern) which failed because the wonderful folks at University Hospital were so gracious to tell me that I need to see a normal doctor, not my neurologist. I guess that might be understandable, so I ask for a referral, which also fails because nobody I talked to was any help at finding the right department or there wasn't any doctors who could see me before the spring.
In an attempt to remedy my situation and after friends and coworkers tell me to go see a chiropractor, I look up the one chiropractor I know. After proximately one minute on the phone I have no problems scheduling an appointment, as a matter of fact they can see me the next day... no problems at all.
I go see my chiropractor and after a couple of minutes of describing my headache he already knows what the problem is.
The back of my neck was so knotted that it was causing pressure on the nerves in my head, thus causing a month long massive headache. He did some adjustments, applied some heat and after about an hour I feel like gold. He had helped my headache and told me how to remedy it at home.
All of this for $35 dollars.
Now, I'm not an expert on chiropractors, I couldn't tell you who would be good or bad, but I can tell you that for the fee of $35 bucks he genuinely helped me and I didn't have to worry about health insurance or the hassle of a gigantic doctor bill.
So for everyone I spoke to at University Hospital.... EAT SHIT AND DIE YOU FUCKING GREEDY FUCKS!!!!!

Urgh. I've had a headache for the last few weeks and it won't go away. I think it's just stress, which my body always has a hard time dealing with.
Unfortunately, my year has not started out well enough.
God, I hate winter.

I really hate my job. I think I'm gonna try to drop a clean UA to try to get a new job. As much as I love free movies I don't know how much longer I can go at this place without physically hurting someone... That's not a joke.
Maybe I feel this way cause I haven't been able to train at the dojo, stupid holiday season.
So, if anyone know of a place that is hiring that would help.

Seeing as October is my favorite month due to the fact that Halloween is my favorite holiday, during the duration of my three day weekend off from work, I contributed to this weekends box office grosses by venturing to see two horror films; Zombieland and Paranormal Activity. I couldn't help myself, I have to take in as many horror films this month as possible, it is customary.

Zombieland- Stupidity of human nature during a zombie apocalypse provides for some hysterical moments including being eaten alive while dropping the kids off at the pool. While the movie wasn't in shortage of funny moments or zombie death, I couldn't help but to notice the film sort of lacked any type of memorable moments to distinguish it from just "another zombie movie". Though the zombie sub-genre has maintained as a heavy hitter among horror fans, Zombieland fared in my opinion as a decent flick for the Halloween build-up. Without completely discrediting the film, I have to say that the Bill Murray cameo was by far the best part of the movie. So for the nine or ten bucks you'll pay to get in, it will be worth learning some basic rules to live by if/when the zombie apocalypse comes.

Paranormal Activity- Considering I had only seen one preview for this movie before walking into the theater, I didn't really have any idea what I was to expect. And since movies stopped scaring me when I was 12, I haven't had a hard time keeping my eyes glued to the screen, which is what I did during what is said to be an hour and forty minutes... seemed a lot shorter to me for some reason. While there are very few actors and actresses in the film it was able to hold a substantial amount of suspense til the very end. At first it may seem like a good idea to film your possibly possessed house, but after a few weeks of no sleep due to demonic occurrences you might want to invest your money into some anti-demon spray.
All in all, it was a eye opener til the very end, but after you watch it, the suspense will have diminished significantly and you'll realize that this was one of those films that you'll probably only watch once.

Oh, and on top of that I got to see Dethklok with Mastodon on Saturday. This was the fifth time I had seen Mastodon and they're shows just keep getting better. I love how Mastodon and Dethklok had a show on top of a show, I mean seeing Dethklok was like watching a really long episode of Metalocalypse. And they played Hatredcopter. FTW
Just for the record I think this is the longest journal entry I've ever posted on SG... cool
