Alright, time for an update. It may look like DnD could be cancelled for a while, the DM had something come up. It is cool, now I get to watch True Blood in HD instead of catching the east coast airing I did install Dungeons & Dragons Online so I could check it out. I would be more willing to play it if they had psionicst.

Work is going a bit better. I still need to see about taking more work on to keep the boredom away. Until then, I will do my best to happily grind away.

Tonight I will be going out on a date with the lovely Drusylla. No real good movies playing this weekend, so it may just be dinner. Regardless, it will be a great time. Not sure how I got so lucky

The weather is finally starting to cool down a bit. It is about time. Now is the time to head out and start seeing what is out there to take shots of. If I find anything interesting, I will post them.

Have you ever just had a day that started out great? It is a rare occurence for me, but I have always believed you just have take good things as they come. Try not to question it, just be happy.

Last night I hung out with Drusylla. We went to check out the movie Burn Before Reading. Very funny movie. Try not to look for a typical all-happy ending that answers all your questions.

Woot, another episode of True Blood tomorrow. I have been working on my new DnD character. I wanted to go with a psionic rogue. Never really played a rouge, but I have always been interested in playing a psionic. Hopefully I will get to implement it.

So, I was messing around with a shoot through umbrella. I must say, it creates some pretty soft light from my off camera flash. it is a bit late, but I will mess around with it a bit more tomorrow.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. I had a pretty fun weekend filled with drinks, college football and friends. Yesterday Drusylla came over to watch some True Blood with me. I think it is shaping up to be a great show. They need to stop with the shock endings though

Now that it is cooling down I will be heading out to take some more pictures. Hopefully I can find some interesting stuff. LOL, 100 may not be cool in most places, but here it is a sign of the coming fall.

Work is still alright. They are making us take this BS class. When it comes down to it, we all have to take it so that some corp checkbox can be filled. They don't even care if we pass it. Oh well, now may not be the time to rock the boat.

So, I have unexpectedly kicked off my b-day weekend early. I went to go hang out with Drusylla for a few drinks. She had to leave early, but a my friend Rob was up there. We were having a pretty good time and then the place closed... for most people. I cashed out at around 2am, but we didn't end up leaving the place until 4. Man, that was a long night, but I had tons of fun. One of the good/bad things about knowing people that work at a bar

Wow, last night was a blast. It was a big turn out for the SGAZ group. We all had sushi and caught some boobs afterwords. I got to see some folks I have met before and met a few new faces. Afterwards, Drusylla and I played some Castle Crashers and Rock Band. She was worried she couldn't play the game so I had her play bass on easy. That's all I have to say about that

It was a long, fun filled night. The SGAZ group is made up of a bunch of cool folks. It was great to see them all together.

Have you ever stopped to admire ants? Seen a Discovery type show about them? They are amazing little insects capable of great things. Organized, dtermined and focused on their task at hand. That is, until those little fuckers invade your place. Then it becomes all out war. They deploy tactics that would make Master Sun quiver with fear. You kill the smaller ones and the next thing you know, you see a few big bruisers patrolling the line, looking for the reason why the others have not returned. It is a numbers game, they through wave after wave at you until they win.

No worries, I have danced this dance before. I know how to take them down. Apart from the bait traps they just seem to love, I through down a little Windex on their trails beyond the trap. Since they are scent based, the ammonia eradicates the scent trail. Much better than the Raid spray. Do you reall want to put a pesticide on your counters and shelves?

Wow, I must have been tired yesterday. I fell asleep at 8pm, that is a crazy time for me. Oh well, I woke up feeling pretty good this morning after a night of some very odd dreams. Nothing too special, just a very wierd assortment of stories that seemed to interlock in one fashion or another.

After a long dry spell of vampire shows/movies, it looks like HBO may have something with True Blood. The season premire was last Sunday and it is looking pretty good so far.

So, aprat from the weekly session of DnD, today I tried something a little different. I got the beautiful Drusylla to model for me a bit. This is the first time I have ever tried this, so I hope I did her justice. We went out to a couple parks and took some pics. Some of these were candid as i watched for her to move in a certain way. Some are posed. The glasses were a little difficult to work with as i was using a flash to fill. Also, I can see my reflection in her glasses on a couple shots I will figure out if there is a better way to shoot when the model is wearing them. I had to resize them for SG, but I will post the full size ones to my flickr account.

Sweet, the week is starting to wind down. It looks like I may be buying season tickets for ASU Football. They aren't the best seats, but at least they aren't very expensive. The games are a lot of fun and I know quite a few people that tailgate before the games.

Apart from that, not too much going on. Work is still bleh. It isn't a bad job, it is jost gotten so borring. Every once in a while I need some sort of challenge. I will keep my eyes open, oppurtunities have a way of popping up when you need them.
