So, just watching the first Hulk movie in preperation for the new one tomorrow. Guess I should call it later today. When I used to work nights I cam up with the rule that tomorrow didn't come until you wetn to sleep. That way I didn't have to concern myself with the whole it's today/tomorrow thing when midnight hit. LOL, I guess I have always been one to question established rules and such
I don't know why so many people disliked the first Hulk movie. I liked it apart from a few problems. The fight scene with the dogs was poorly lit. Also, the last big fight scene where Bruce fights his father was a little clunky and anticlamatic. I did like how they worked the comic book frame style into the movie. And Jennifer Connelly
Rydell reminds me of her. Talk about a beauty.
Oh well, going to finish up this movie and hit the hay.

Yup, I think it may be time for a change at work. I am the UNIX IT person mainly responsible for labs. I have been doing it for a while now. I just have to keep on moving around or I get bored. Sure, I could just keep un doing the same thing, but without a challenge I just have a real hard time getting motivated. I mentioned to a friend at work that I was interested in programming again and the next thing I know, word got around and some people are interested. Next, I need to start picking up some Ruby and some C++. I know Perl and shell, but I need to spread out a bit.
Oh well, here's to changes

Alright, they year is half way done and I have yet to take any official vacation days. I am going to take some time off and find something fun to do. Too bad it is already starting to heat up over here
Just your normal scene late at night:

Yeah, that black thing is just a Chinese fighting dummy (Muk Yan Jong).
Yeah, HArvey Birdman. Not my favorite show, but it looked so nice in the pic I decided to use it anyway.

Enough with the Master Chief, its time to turn the lights down low... and see a little Cortana. Lol, what a geek. Trying to mess with much slower shutter speeds and background lights. Tried moving around from f/6 - f/11. I still have to mess around with it a bit. Kinda hard to shoot a translucent figure. Now for an SG to make a Cortana set

[EDIT]
I shot these soft just to see how she looks while not illuminated with blue LEDs:

Vacation ideas. I have a sabttical coming up next Febuary. It's two straight months of payed vacation and I am trying to think of some place I would like to go. Not for the whole two months though
So, where would you like to go?
Yay, we may get some rain. Here is my first shot at the dreaded M mode. Understanding Exposure is a great book, I have learned quite a bit in just the first 40 pages.

So, a little rain tease today, but it was at least cooler today. We may be heading for a very warm summer. I may be going on a hiking trip with some friends soon. Good chance to snap some photos.
Hanging out with my friend Mark has been a trip. He is the guy at work that has a studio and runs several classes on photography. I had to get over my no picture rule.

I was bored and I wanted to mess with my camera. Master Chief really knows how to work a shot:

Well, it isn't always easy doing the right thing and sometimes I fall a little short. That is alright though, gotta keep on moving forward and try to do better.
I went out on a fun shoot durring lunch with some friends from work. I am still learning my camera. I had to toss several since my focus selection was off from were I thought it was. Next time I will have to use some sort of preflight checklist to make sure all settings are at a base setting.
