For depressing phonesex dial 1-900-Alfalfa.

Heh, life would be a bit more grey if it werent for MST3K.

Well Im back...yay I know. ITs sad that I rejoin a porn site mostly because of a cluster of interviews I like. I wonder if any more midwesterners have joined since I left.

Bah this feels like talking to myself. mad

Blah...this "blogging" thing will take awhile to get back into...not like I was stellar before.

Damn cold weather. It can suck my arse.

I really hate the homeland security department's name...let alone its function.Makes me think of Stalinist Russia. And it's 40 billion wasted on a huge bureaucracy to make the sheep feel a little safer(whether they are or not is irrelevant).

BAH mad

Sometimes I wish I were just one of those people that was happy just going out and drinking every weekend. That I didn't worry about things I read in the news...and the things that don't show up in the news. That could treat people like objects of gratification...as means to an end. That cruelty and callousness amused me.Sure I'd be a piece of Sh**...but to hold to type I'd be oblivious to my flaws. Everything would be someone else's fault, and be happy a just bitching at what I did notice.Instead I sit and brood.I feel empathy for people whose lot I cannot change.I choke on my own self righteousness and then rant in tiny little forums like this where my opinions will not be held to any serious scrutiny and where it will not matter and where runon sentences happen. Yeee haw mad

I saw Adaptation today. An excellent film, though my thought processes sound a bit disturbingly like Charlie Kaufman's.And my relationship with my brother is a lot like that too.Worrisome that is. Regardless of my personal dysfunctions I recommend that you see this film(the best answer I've seen to a "why am I here?" question on film is in this movie.)
In other news,I'm still f**ked up. I'm not getting enough work...and that gives me too much free time...which gives me too much time to think(which leads to the aforementioned similarities.) Politics have been depressing me of late. Umm...that's enough typing now. Sleepy time. skull

Saw the Two Towers last night at the midnight showing. T'was nifty! That throwaway shot of Legolas mounting a horse was ....well you have to see it. eeek And Gimli finally got to kick some ass!I was going to make a timeline of my experience there...but nah. Anyways I am on my weekend now. I had to run the gauntlet of frozen meat gifts on my way out of work(an annual Christmas tradition).I have no idea what I am going to do this weekend. I could respond to that email from my engaged XGF...but again...nah. Maybe beer and vomiting is in order. Well this is enough typing for now.

Not a bad day. I got out of work early, then I spent three hours at a book store. I'm still jittery from the caffiene. Then I worked out. On the bad side my car is crapping out and my friend will still not call me back. Ah well. Pretty banal entry today.

Snow today...the kind of snow that you just want to sit around and watch fall while sitting next to a fireplace with a book and sipping a cup of espresso. This is what I saw when I came out of work today at 2 am...and the first I had heard of it.I hate being caged for ten frickin hours in that windowless box.Damn.Time for me to pray to the nonexistent gods that my stupidity tax(I mean lottery ticket) pays off.

Anyways in other news....nothing to report. I work to keep the consumers of Mn flush with opportunities to "buy happiness", check my email, the boards I post to, and sleep. Yay. I should go work out...then I'd get that endorphin rush and get some faux happiness.

First entry...now what to say? First off...I like the site. I heard about it in a twin cities independent paper called the city pages. I figured it would be a nice site to look at when I come home at crap o' clock in the morn from my job. A nice change of pace from being with the grim, staid, people I work with for so many hours.
Anyhow, that's good enough for my first journal entry ever.I'll probably update this soon. The people who didn't go for the "Buy Nothing" day are keeping me so busy that I will have no life for quite a while.
