Its been a few weeks since Ive been on here, mainly because i have the attention span of a goldfish, but all is well in Darkoland...Its getting warmer im going out more and hopefully! I'll meet someone this year. It needs to happen, im ready to date again..its been a long time but i can honestly say i think im happy with myself so not be with someone??? Only time will tell!!!

So, for those of you that care ( and don't), I just wanted to give a little update as to how my plan of making some changes in my life is going. Honestly, its going pretty well. I don't want to jinx myself but things are actually moving along. Slowly but nonetheless moving along in the direction i want it to be going in. Credit card is paid off (woohoo), Snap-on bill is almost paid off, and other than that i have my car payment which is necessary because I NEEDED a newer car..and its easily manageable so, its not much of a hassle. Other than that, I plan on moving to a new apartment sometime this year and hopefully i'll even meet a girl!! Because a year and a half single is too long..and i think i'm ready again. Its cold and dark and rainy, it snowed last night than sleeted/rained and its supposed to snow again tonight.! I miss spring and summer with the birds chirping and the wind gently blowing through the green, green grass....ahhh think happy thoughts....

Well today is the big 30 for me and I've been doing alot of thinking / reflecting and have decided that I'm going to make some changes in my life, because to be honest, this isnt where i wanted to be at 30. Now i wasn't expecting to be a millionaire or be internationally famous (although both of those would be nice), Just a little farther along...and i'm not and now ive decided to put my best efforts forward and make a better attempt at getting where i want to be. Other than that i went out last night with friends and really had a blast, i'm lucky to have such a great group of friends. Well thats all for now - Dan!

Today is a difficult day for me. Back in 1998 My best friend was killed in a hunting accident. So now every year since this accident i think about all of the things that he never got to do and all of the amazing and terrible things that he never will experience...and it sucks!! So much shit is running through my head. I wish there was something i could do to see him again or prevent it from happening. So much i want to talk to him about and ask him, I wonder what he would have been like if he hadn't been killed, or if we would still be close friends? It really drives me nuts sometimes!!! Life is so wonderful sometimes and others its a complete shit show ya know???
I know I'm just rambling on right now but i needed to clear my head...As far as i know he enjoyed his short life, he had (has) a great family whom i am still close with, and friends that loved him. Seventeen years old is too young for anyone to pass on but, when it happened it changed my life, and i think for the better. I learned at a very young age to appreciate life for what it is and not to take anything for granted. Because you truly never do know when your time is up...So....that's whats on my mind.
