Well with starting school again I have been really busy, but I am still really sad that Club Suicide is closing. It had become something that I looked forward to, and was just a nice environment. I made some good friends there, hope everyone will show up to the last event - Saturday September 17th. Here are some pictures that I took at their last event.[]

So, it has been five months now that I have been shoot at LA's Club Suicide (suicide girls). I am more of a traditional photographer, have taken Photography classes since 93'. When I got my photo certificate in 2000 we were still scanning negatives. I have always loved SG, since around their start in fact. I am really excited to be working for friends photographing a club with such a prestigious name. Since I am not a club photographer I have been doing my own thing with the idea of making sg, hopefuls, and girls in general feel like they have a pic worthy of the SG association. A bit tricky – but I love going up and asking people how they feel about the picture I took – if it reflects their personality and stuff.

Had an amazing time photographing LA's Club Suicide. This was my 5th time shooting for them and having never done venue club style photography before, I am just doing my own thing and I love it. The owners are nice and easy to get along with. Add that to a very interesting and diverse group of people who are nice and have common interests, and it really is the best place to work.

I have had the most wonderful and fullfilling weekend. I spent quality time with good friends on a girls night out to Club Suicide, LA. I had asked my friends who are the owners if I could bring my camera in to photograph the event as a momento, and they agree to let me try shooting the event with the hope of getting a job.

It was like nothing I have ever tried before, with going up to strangers, catching people in motion, glamorizing beautiful women, all while having an amzaing time. I have taken 11 college level photography courses so I knew that I could take technical photos, I just didin't know if my style was the kind of thing they would like. Fortunetly the owners really liked my work and I am set to photograph next month! I can't say how honored and excited I am for this opertunity.
