My vacation is scheduled to start tomorrow... as is the end of the world. Now that's just poor planning.

Just the other day I was saying that we need more Christmas songs about serial killing Santa Clauses....
Some film directors are masters at choosing music & songs to accentuate the emotions and poignancy of a scene. Kubrick, Tarantino and Scorsese come to mind. Often times, this forever alters how we hear and appreciate that song (I have never heard "Singing in the Rain" the same way after A Clockwork Orange).

The geek in me cringes now, as I realize that the shirt is all wrong. My mom got me this shirt because Spock is my favorite character, however, while the color of the shirt is correct, the insignia attached to it is a command insignia, not a science one.

I saw this last night and I highly recommend it:
It was an excellent thriller. There is a child in the movie who was simply amazing. It's unreal that they could get such a performance out of a 6 year old.
