I didn't see Looper, but I heard good things. The way they made Joseph Gordon Levitt look like Bruce Willis was quite jarring, though. I wish they hadn't bothered, it probably would've been believable without all the makeup.

I've heard people say that. I'm sort of disappointed I missed it in the theater. It sounded like a fun concept with some good actors (and I hear Bruce Willis actually tried for a change), but for whatever reason I didn't get to it.

I saw it (dubbed into Thai, with English sub-titles—that added a dimension). The kid impressed me. Bruce somewhat. The young Bruce not so much. For me he was not convincing. Maybe that is just me. The scene where the girl decides that the man is better than her hand is a laugh.
