Yesterday was soooo cooool! Literally.
Me and a couple buddies went up to Mt Laguna for a little Lord of the Rings adventure. We walked and walked and walked. There was all kinds of nature stuff like snow and rocks and birds and plants and water and critters and... well it was pretty fun.

Fros over hoes!
Made my way up to LA a month or two ago to visit some friends. I was going nuts taking pictures with my iPhone and before I knew it, it turned into a full blown photo shoot with my two beautiful models rockin' their fros all over town! Gotta say it was very very fun. I'm by no means a photographer but maaan I can't wait for the next shoot! Any takers?

Comic Con was awesome!!!!! Met up with a bunch of friends and saw so many people I haven't seen in forever! It was also cool meeting a few of the SG's and having them sign my SG SketchCards. Not to mention all the bad ass parties that went down! I offended a lot of people at the Andrew WK show because I wasn't familiar with his music :/ Sorry dudes. BUT I did have a blast getting tossed around in the pit. I was sore and bruised the next day and my phone is covered in scuffs from being tossed around the floor during the entire second half of the set. Goooood times!
Anyway, I won't go into details about everything that went down because you can already imagine based on the million stories you've already heard from everybody and their mom who went to SDCC.
I wanted to put the photos here but there's too many! I just made an album instead...

I've been wanting to get back into this drawing thing on my free time. Maybe I'll continue with my SG Sketchcard thing I started doing some time ago. For now here's a sketch of one of the girls. I think she has a great face for caricatures! That's definitely a compliment btw. An interesting face is always more fun than a plain face. ...Although there really is no such thing as a plain face. Anyway, I'll get into caricature theories some other time.
Can you guess who this is?

A design I drew up recently. An "Obey-ish" style poster design as a tribute to a San Diego legend.
Man, that style isn't as simple as I have heard some people claim. It isn't as easy as applying some filter! I will admit a few parts of this were live traced but if you know anything about Illustrator you would agree that live trace is never the final step. Sometimes it just creates more work trying to "clean up" all the lines.
Anyhow... easily 10+ hours went into this illustration. I am pretty proud of it so I really hope you dig it!

Wanted to share a semi-old Instagram photo of mine.
When I was taking this photo I was just thinking of how it must feel to be so far from home. I know a lot of us know the feeling of being away from our home town, home state, and even home country. But think about being away from your home PLANET. It's a crazy thought. I can't even fathom the feeling of seeing your planet from so far away and knowing you can't just catch a cab to the nearest airport and head home whenever you feel like it. It crazy.
Anyway... Do you use Instagram? What's your user name? I wanna follow you!

A piece I did for fun. Thought it would cool if this were on a tee or maybe just as a sticker. For now I made a few prints.

Did this for a friend as part of a sort of gift exchange. She had seen the "Fixie Chick" drawing I did and wanted to be drawn with her bike. Sooo... I tried to be a little creative and came up with this. She wanted to look all "tough in a bikini" with her Schwinn Hollywood and her Ironman tattoo showing (she recently competed in an Ironman competition). I thought it'd be cool to make it look like an old ad for the bike. Anyways... Hope you dig it. Crits and comments are always welcome!
