So last Saturday was one of the most relaxing/exciting days that i have ever had. After enjoying a soccer match (DC United 2-Chivas USA 0), i got a call from one of my best friends in the whole world (who i have sadly not seen in a long time). She and some friends were going to a Brit Pop party at the Black Cat and since i am the only guy in our exclusive group of friends that can dance, i was the male escort choice of the night. So i put on my tightest, most torn jeans, my tightest shirt, got my rockingest shoes on and put on my faux hawk and i was off. However, i still needed something extra to put the outfit together with. Insert the fingerless gloves and the aviator glasses. Hotness, thy name is Runjit!!!!



So, for the first time in a LONG time, i stayed out until 3 in the morning dancing the night away and protecting my lady friends from sheevy guys who a) had too much to drink, b) had ill thoughts on their minds, and c) were too nerd/wierd even for our tastes. It seriously was one of the best nights that i have ever had and i think that it may be my newest thing to do on Saturday!!! YAY partying and having a good time.

As i promised...he is my adventure outside in the snow.

Another night of staying up for no good reason and trying to think of ways to get to sleep.

BTW...it snowed here, but barely. I have some time tomorrow before class, so i am going to take some winter pictures to put online. I have been waiting some time to do this and with this first snow, it seems like the right time.

Also, i am contemplating going to the SGDC group thingy on Sat. I have some plans later that night, so i might stop by. We will just have to see where the night takes me.

I don't know what else to say, so i will say this: How come French fries are not considered vegetables, since they are just deep fried potatoes? I need answers people!!! null

Bought this new tea strainer from the Korean store, but i really bought it for the box!!! This is the best box. I have no idea what it is saying, but it has speech bubbles and is "SUPER" as noted in the top right corner. I just thought it was great.

See what i mean....it is 10:04 right now and i have done nothing this weekend.

It isn't actually procrastinating since i did spend some great time with my girlfriends and watched Food Network all day on Saturday (which makes me want Thanksgiving dinner now....). Although...i still have some time left.

Oh man am i a procrastinator. I have it down to a science. I even do it without realizing that i am doing it. And i know that i am doing it right now. But i don't look at it as procrastinating. I look at it as exploring my options. How do i know that i want to or need to do that report right now. There may be other things that are more pertainent than me working on my philosophy of literature for my graduate class. Like taking my clothes for dry cleaning. I need my dress shirts so that i can go to sub in the schools.

Or maybe grocery shopping. I need food to survive.

Or maybe i am exploring the wonders of the internet. There is a lot of information out there and i need to see it all.

Or maybe i am exploring the wonders of Xbox Live. Imagine, at that second, i just shot the head off of someone in Tokyo. The limits of space are nigh.

But mainly, i procrastinate because i am bored.

When something peaks my interest, it has all of my attention. I admit that i am not the best multitasker, but i try and i was always taught it is the effort that counts.

I suppose i should start to revise my paper. I should. Yes. I should....right now....yes....hmmm...i wonder what is on TV....nothing....anything new on the internet....same old things.....what about my doggies....they are sleeping....well...i guess i have run out of options.

I just got back my test results from the Praxis II (the test that says if i am qualified to teach in VA or any state for that matter) and i kicked it's ASSS. I scored 182 out of 200. Not perfect, but it is way above VA qualifications (172) and the highest (176- Vermont). So, i can officially teach everywhere in the United States. Get ready for the US educational system to be rocked!!!!

now...for sadder news...


I was at my girlfriends house the other day in DC and we thought we heard my alarm go off at 4 am, so i got out of bed to turn off the alarm (hit the unlock button on my car remote) and then went back to sleep. It seems that i didn't RE-lock the car and my Ipod and brand new Canon Exilim EX-Z57 camera were stolen. DAmmit!!!! So, now i have to get a new camera and Ipod!!! Good think payday is not to far away. But, at least the car is fine and nothing else was stolen (especially my Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture 2nd Edition...that is my life now!!! I am the grand champion!!)

Anyway, Thank you for the congrats on the test and the condolences on the theft. I get when one door closes, another opens up.

Can't sleep.

I have to though because i am teaching tomorrow (Theatre Class) and i need to be up at butt fuck AM...that's a real time....before 9 is butt fuck. It is the time of day where you don't want to get up or be up or do anything. Just nothing...

After 9 is fine, but even then it gets iffy.

Ok....going to lay down to sleep....hope this works...

I'll tell you if i fall asleep during my teaching tomorrow. Night all.
