After several years of going between observing a true Vegan diet and flexing back to that of an Omnivore I have discovered one permanent truth. Dairy is the complete Antichrist...both for your body and the planet....as are any commercially processed animal products.

The longest I have been able to observe a Vegan diet without cheating in one stretch has been 6 months. There is a lot to be said as far the consciousness, purity, and detoxification this diet provides as well as the rest, recovery, and relaxation it gives your digestive system. We just simply are not designed to intake excessive amounts of animal flesh and animal products the way we do.

Sometimes I breakdown and eat some fish or a dairy product, but honestly I feel I am getting closer to just staying Vegan with ease.

Update...I've decided to be exclusively Pescetarian. I have no spiritual or moral issues hunting and killing fish personally, but can't stomach the idea of pigs, chickens, cows, or any other animal suffering on my behalf. It's just barbaric, messy, and unnecessary. I don't care how "ethically farmed" it is.

The health benefits of fish cannot be denied and I am of the belief that the ocean covering 2/3 of the planet might have something to do with it being one of our primary food sources. It just feels natural to fish as though it were meant to be.
