this is my new kitten shiva. she came home with me on tuesday. she's super cute and entertaining and she'll eat anything. lettuce, eggs, tomatoes etc. i've never seen a cat with such an indiscriminate appetite.


and this is ash aka kitty aka mr.cat. he was being a big baby about her coming into the apartment at first, but he's become quite paternal now.

just came back from my friend ashton's place. he had a lovely line up of beautiful people jamming it out in his basement. wine and good times all around. canada day was fun as always and i'm now more broke than i thought i would be. go me. i need to learn an instrument so i can join in with the folks and make beautiful music. i also need to get my shit together and spend money wisely..and figure out how to make more of it..preferably whilst still enjoying life to the fullest.

well it's almost time for me to crash but i'm at my home with my computer for once so...hello


i love to have a place of my own which is clean and neat..and has my stuff (and apparently neighbors screaming at people to shut up because it's 2 something in the morning) but after a long night of hard work, or anytime really, i just want to be with my boyfriend. i sleep there most every night of my life...and pretty much live there. we only just decided we will move in together after about 2 yrs of this me-spending-every-night-there business. and now i'm not sure i want to give up this space of my own. i do enjoy my solitude occasionally. but it's just silly to keep going back and forth. so i'm torn. and indecisive as ever.

for now i'm with my beloved slow piece of crap computer enjoying my music and looking at the pretty suicide girls. you all make me want to look my best naked. i bought some running shoes the other day and hopefully i'll get the motivation to get in the swing of running every day or so. it'll feel awesome to be in shape and healthier.

i'm off to bed now. gonna finish my sister's dreads tomorrow
