the world as we use to know it has changed today- my best friend passed away at 4 23 this morning - my family was with my mom all morning- my dad passed on peacefully and that meant a lot to us. that he not be in any pain and he still had his dignity
things have been a lil hectic around here my dad has been in the hospital for about 2 maybe 3 weeks now having radiation treatments done on a tumor that's on the back of his neck near his spine.he was due to have 14 treatments but they aren't going to do that last two since they don't think that the treatments are really doing much help so he's going home on monday to start in home hospice care. the doc says we're looking at 6wks - 6 mons- I'm trying to keep my head up for my mom and hang in there but it's hard.

Buggie is getting her first round of shots on the 29th n I have my first PPD visit the day after- I don't know if I'm going to be in the room while she's getting them done cause I know I'll end up in tears if she does. My hubbie is wondering if he's going to be able to handle it as well. we're still so so about this whole shot thing since some have said it can cause autism- but I've heard that it can't . Still kinda weirded out by it n wondering what to do. We both hate getting shots or IV's but can handle piercings n tats. LOL. anywho here's a cute pic I took last night . 
Hey hey hey guess who's a month old today - our lil buggie turned 1 month old today - it seems like only yesterday that I was pushing her out of me - I kinda miss all the attention we got in the hospital - but I don't miss the pain from the contractions. 
they fucking hurt - my new hero is the guy who did my epidural. forgot his name but we'll just call him Dr. Feelgood- I do remember the name of the OB though - I mean how can one forget someone with the name of Dr Brest - he's going to be delivering my cousins baby . After the epidural kicked in he was known as Dr. Boobs to me. My mom almost made me piss the bed when she was all like with the perfession he has you'd think his name would be Dr. Vagina. This was said while my cousins were visitng. Still can't believe that came out of her mouth.
Epidurals r the shit. Talk about fucking someone up- I was seeing Hello Kitty on the ceiling right it was time to push - I was also seeing a face in one of the lights - all I remember was it had on an oriental looking kind of mask. I remembering telling my husband n my mom about before I asked for some more ice chips - which I wasn't able to get enough off. It was like they were going out of style. One of the intern docs predicted that she was going to be coming right before lunch and sure enough she was right - n I was all about getting her out before lunch since I was starving - I wanted a milkshake - n a burger then changed my mind and wanted some icecream from MaggieMoo's one of my fav icecream joints. Childbirth is one hell of an experience- but it's worth it and I didn't shit myself during labor like some do - that was one of my biggest fears . Pooping during labor.

contractions have started been having them for like 4 hrs - 20 mins now - they were coming like every 3-4 mins at first now they are 8-9 mins apart -had a nice 40 min break that gave me time to visit with my mom who just ran out to get some things for me and the baby - bri is running out to get us some lunch then I'm headed up to try to get some rest- we r having my mom get us a nice shower curtin for the upstairs bathroom so I don't have to go downstairs to shower - showering will help to relax me - feeling pretty tired since I didn't sleep much last night - guess my body knew something was up - ugh so I'm hoping to get in a lil nap - gonna call my OB around 4ish to let him know what's going on - so she could be coming soon . YAY
So I just got out on Monday from being in the hospital for 5 days- was admitted last wed after my OB visit due to my sugar levels being real high not only where they high my urine test came back real shitty- had a lot of crap in it as well as some blood- so I was given some meds for a UTI- while I was in the hosp I was put on a new insulin that I have to take before meals and my other one was uped a dosage- was also on fetal monitor at different times of the day and my sugars were tested an hr after my meals - so a lot of needles and finger pricks- here's the shitty part of my stay- an old shoulder injury started to act up big time last thurs - the pain level was way over a 10 - got a real bad pinched nerve in my right shoulder so the use of my right arm has been limited - they were nice enough to issue me some percocets
- one or two every 4 hrs. what a happy lil pill. I was in la la land- my hubbie came to see me on last thurs took one look at me and was like u r fucked up LOL - I totally was LOL and lovin it - oh almost forgot to add that my room didn't have a shower curtin so showering was pretty interesting- I was a lil sad to leave since there went my supply of pain meds - ended up goin to the ER on Wed cause my shoulder was really killin me and they wrote me a script for some percs- so I am once again happy and somewhat pain free - me n baby are doing good - so are my sugars n I lost a pound

It was sooo kewl - I almost cried - I had no clue that we were going to get to see her like that - thought it was just going to be a reg ultrasound - made today real special since it was the settlement on our house day and we move in on Fri- the real estate agent is such a sweetie got us a real cute pooh bag filled with pooh stuff- baby's 1st pooh bear that rattles- pooh wash cloths- a real cute pink outfit with pooh on it - a pooh plate for when she starts eatting in her high chair and a memory pillow u know that u put her name , birthday and all that other stuff on - she even got my parents a 75 dollar gift certificate to go out for dinner or lunch
so here I sit wide awake while my hubby is sound asleep in our room- our lil one has been doing some nice kicks here and there- kinda hard to fall asleep when u get a sudden jab or kick - but she's letting us know she's alive and doing her lil irish jig as I call it. I'll be 27 wks this week so the 3rd trimester is finally here . My mom took us baby shopping on Thurs. Ended up getting a travel system stroller and put in an order for a glider- also waitng to see if out bid on a house was accepted - find out on tues - I hope it was accepted since it's 4 blocks from my folks and the house is perfect for us.
as for other things going on in my life- our roomie aka my fag is leaving for Arizona for a month or two to stay with one of our mates- took him to his moms pad earlier so he could spend the week there getting his stuff ready and hanging with his family- I'm going to miss him a lot - A hag w/o her fag - god is that depressing - we usually go clubbing on wed and this wed will be our last time for a while since I'm going to be in my 3rd trimester and huge and he's going to be out in AZ - they will be seeing a lot of us after my daugther is born - will kinda be my wed night outting -
anywho once I found out what the deal is with the house - if we get it I'll be spending most of this month packing or looking for another one if they don't accept our offer - need to find one ASAP . Will be spending a week at the jersey shore soon - can't wait - will be a nice fun relaxing week with my family that is needed- prob going to get the prenatal massage that my hubbie got for me for mothers day some time this week that is highly needed since I've been really emotional.
