makes me happy: Publishing. Discovering new writers. Being loved by people that I love. Seeing new art. Learning something new. Intellectual conversations. Anything funny. Making things: writing, painting, knitting, cooking, throwing clay, sculpting, glazing, sewing. Reading a good book.

most humbling moment: Having to speak at a luncheon in my honor (scholarships for school). Trying to explain to those people just how much it meant to me to have my work selected as worthy of their time and money. It floored me.

gets me hot: Passion. Fire. No, really, actual fire. Being kissed in more than just the usual places. Flirting. Good writing.
