I was shopping for lumber to build a book case earlier and was stunned to find out how expensive it is. The cheapest low grade pine board (bent like a banana) was $13. That's insane. I was planning to use select grade pine but that's $20 a board. For pine!

Now is when I wish I had a truck. I'd road trip to my Mom's house in Wisconsin and get lumber there.
