I'm a bit on the butthurt side about
ticktock set getting trashed because it wasnt spiffied up. We were both totally under the impression her photos were to be unedited so that's how we submitted them and yes yes we fucking know the lighting was an issue... we were indoors balancing an SB-800, crappy ambient light aaaaand the lights around her apt. which any photo person knows have an unavoidable blue or green cast. However these arent "excuses" just tiny overlooked flaws which can easily be remedied. In a weird way Im kinda sad that the submitted photos are expected to be souped up because we totally could have done that had we known the public was expecting some intensely worked on photos. I miss the old SG vibe of just beautiful alt. girls not 'shopped to hell.
Whatever...I guess for our next endeavor we might have to get super anal and take it to a studio OR I might have to rent a speedo some strobes and find a different setting. I royally feel like a jackass though because I def dont wanna screw up her chances OR make myself look like a dimwit...
