The more I read about the situation with the girl in India the more pissed off I get. What the fuck is wrong with them? Do the men want their mothers, sisters, daughters treated this way?
And it's not just India that this kind of stuff is happening in.
For a while now I've been donating to/supporting a group called the Somaly Mam Foundation. They help girls in Cambodia that have been freed from the sex trade. A lot of them were either kidnapped or sold by their parents. They educate them and teach them a trade so they can become independent.
It's just a fucked up world we live in.
