6.27.2008 Update
I'm now 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. My midwife thinks my little girl will be here within the next week or so. I've been walking a lot...I guess it's working.
i'm going on a SG hiatus.

what's worse than being 9 months pregnant in this summertime heat?
being 9 months pregnant in this summertime heat and breaking the metatarsals in your foot.
that's right, i have managed to break my foot.
oh how mortifying it's going to be to give birth with my casted foot trying to fit into a stirrup.

Ohhhhkayyyyy.
I'm officially 36 weeks.
Nervous as fuck.
I think it's probably because I watch too much of those birth shows on TLC. For the last 9 months I have been telling myself I'm going to do this natural meaning no pain medications at all. I thought that I could overcome the pain by deep breathing and remaining calm. I'm now starting to believe that this pain will be unlike anything else I have ever felt. Now, the thing is, I have a high pain tolerance, I'm a masochist for fucks sake. But when I think about it, I'm a puss when it comes to menstrual cramps. Now, if hard labor contractions feel like menstrual cramps x100, I'm going to be so fucked. I'm the type of girl that will most likely vomit if pain is too much. I have in the past. Yeah it's gross, but I can't really tell my body not to, you know? I just wish this were my second child, or perhaps that I would have already known what to expect. I'm not dialated much, but I do feel lots of pressure which makes walking a chore. I'm just waiting until I hit 37 weeks, maybe 38 to start home induction remedies. Lots of sex, nipple stimulation and Raspberry Tea in the weeks to follow.
This should be really interesting.

Went & watched "The Happening" today.
Pretty good flick.
Not too unrealistic of a plot, which made it a hundred times scarier.
Plus, Mark Wahlberg is hot.
It's too bad he didn't hook back up with New Kids On The Block for their new cd, lmao.
ps - Does anyone have an explaination as to why Ashlee Simpson's song "Outta My Head" is so fucking addicting?

We had a 4.0 earthquake in my town last night.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help me self induce my own labor? I'm on bedrest now, and I'm in a lot of pain. But my Midwife won't induce me until I'm 40 weeks. I'm 34 weeks now and my little girl is over 5 pounds! I've tried sex, masturbation, nipple stimulation, raspberry tea, walking, heavy lifting...I'm running out of options...Please help...

It was a good movie, despite having seen it in Fairfield, California.
For those of you that don't know what I'm speaking about, I would love to elaborate.
My Baby Daddy and I felt like we were at a 13 year old girl's slumber party.
There were about 5 dozen "people" there screaming "Hell naw nigga, kill his motha fuckin ass" on the scary parts.
It got really old, really fast.
Remind me to see "The Dark Knight" in a more "mature" town.
